I tried to trade some custom figures (for new bases) before, without success, by the way, on MFCA trading section.

Too bad... your figures are worth it if you like customs!!!!!!thmbsp$ thmbsp$ thmbsp$ thmbsp$

You know...Finally I'm happy with that. Now my personal projects can move on.

Tonight I'm working on my steelers d squad, for example thmbsp$

I'll just have to spend some dollars for bases like anyone else :D

Just curious how much do those figures weigh? I'm still trying to get better with the green stuff. Im trying to get better at sculpting before it gets dry on me. good work buddy!!

Weight depands. My biggest linemen on TTC are about 4.15-4.2grams. (it's why I'm thinking about making another weight measurement in my ruleset, to accept these big athletes also).

All the other ones are about 3grams with rookie, a little more with ttc. All the weights are for finished figures (modelling flock, paint, facemask, etc...).

To save some weight, if you work with ff.net figures you can remove the plateform and replace it with a bit of plasticard, or an old thing miggle/tudor plateform. You can also drill holes in the ff.net plateform (Franny j boy do that for his biggest linemen).

All that to say that with minimal efforts, you can keep your heavily customized figures under the 4.0gs without too much trouble ;)

Using a mix between proline figure and ff.net head, I'm currently building a "waiting" LB pose.

Here's the first pics. Tommorow I'll make the shoulder pads.

I'm currently building on the other squad figure. I plan to finish the squad before the week end ;)

thanks !

I finished the figure before I go to work.

Tight armor and jersey modern look. I like the today style of football players. Even the linemen wear light weight (sort of...sorry I'm not a specialist to tell you the right names) armors

I remember a decade before, the tight/light armors were reserved for safe/fast positions, now they seems to all wear the same, from WRs to tuff contact positions, correct me if I'm wrong !

new "fiber" style muscles

Hi,

here's the last additions for today, (LB and DE), I tried a new sculpting technic, adding a sort of "fiber" texture on the muscles, you know, like comic books super heroes or extreme body builders with 0% fat, just muscles and skin.

Here's the pics, you can see the effect especially on the last pic. WIth advanced painting effects, it should be pretty cool at the end.

Hi,

This morning I finished the arms sculpting for the DEs and LBs.

Tonight I'll make the CBs and safety. They will be less muscled.

Then, tommorow, I'll make chest and shoulder details.

Here 's some pics of the "power athletes" of that defense squad thmbsp$

edit :

figurines used : buzzball, haiti repro, miggle/tudor, proline, ff.net thmbsp$
