This will be very interesting because...
 
many teams have more than 100 plays. I may have to randomly select 50 run plays and 50 pass plays from each team and create the chart for offense and defense respectively.

At that point, I will still have some limits because I will not be able to run through the many plays a team has in its repetoire. Anyhow, I will try to do the simulation of each player before the play begins so I won't have to be constantly stopping and turning. For me, that takes up way too much time and efficiency is important for me.

That is an interesting idea and one I hadn't considered before —to have each team pick a particular offensive scheme as it's "style". That also adds a nice old-school touch to the game.
