I've tried them, untweaked and tweaked

I have several dozen of them, use them, and love them. I actually bought some tweaked from Geno himself, bought some from Bill to experiment with, and just purchased some more this afternoon (tweaked a "special" way).
They work very well, but I play against others who have the exact same bases, so it's hard for me to rate them up against anyone else's stuff. My biggest problem is simply coaching mistakes. (The bases weren't the problem with my poor Tornado Alley League play today).

Okay, I am not a great tweaker, so keep that in mind.

1. I found that the front prongs were too far back, causing my players to lunge forward and I couldn't fix it.

2. I read where someone had to turn them around backwards to get speed out of them. I just haven't tried that myself, but is that really the way they were designed? I don't think so.

I love their look, and their color, but I personally only got 1 out of 8 to perform decent. I'll post more later, gotta go.

O-s,

1. The 67 Big man TE & the BUZZBALL QB perform fine on the F-5
to help the other figures with more forward weight simply clip the REAR prongs to pitch the base ride postion to a more level state. (versatile)

2. Tweaking the base to run backwards isnt a new idea, and it certainly isnt just for speed. You can get the F-5 to do amazing things running in this manner. (versatile )

3. All of the prongs on the base are at a 90 degree angle. You MUST lean the prongs in a rearward manner in order for them to do thier job.

I hope some of this helps you out if not feel free to call me anytime on my cell 620-904-7000. HAPPY TWEAKING

Thanks Geno, I will give those things a try. I always try to keep an open mind when it comes to these things, so I will buy more if I can get them going. Actually mine were a gift, so I should say I will buy more myself if I can get them going.

My latest F5 order

arrived last week. Love 'em. Great to work with. Figuring out the tweaking specifics with them more and more.

As I have said before excellent craftsmanship and finish. Top shelf.

Good for me

I have a few and I need more. Since the last "Tweak" I've had great success. I think we another post on tweaking these bases because of the thickness of the prongs. But I'll tell you for the heavier figures they work great. As far as front lean on the figures; I know to cut the rear prongs down. But all in all a good base.
