TE

I Ditto Baxter's response.. 100%. TE used for mostly blocking loopers but play off to get open also.

Te's

I use them for both. But I watched Uncle Reggie and noticed he had TE'S that looked the same, but did two different task. So I have one for passes and one for blocking. Both look the same down to the base. One is on an ITZ and one is on a TTC. The ITZ is good for that flat pass when thhe OLBis playing off the end. Also if you need him to pick up that looper. You just have to sneak him in the game. Don't tell nobody.

i haven't tried them in reverse, yet, maybe i should mess around with that tonight.

Blockers and Receivers

Am finding a good amount of success running from double tight - sets up rb swing pattern nicely. But also working on aligning in the dbl tight and then having the TE's run quick slide (banana) patterns out to flat depending on the defense. Seems spacing is also key. I can see where the middle crossing pattern can be good or the quick seam route as well - if you can get them there.

My T E s

I tend to use them as blockers more than naught. That was until we started using multi-stop and engaged/eligible rules. But before then, they did what they do in real life. They're strong enough to run block and they're slippery enough to get that all important 1st Down in clutch situations. Each of my teams have one on a Rookie base (passing sits.) and 2 others on TTCs (Heavy Sets).

Here's a good pic of one of my blocking TEs sealing the sideline for a Screen Pass to Thomas Jones, who scooted down the sideline for a TD!

I like it

but what a tight window to fit that pass into!

TE

The more weapons you can use the better. The TE can work the middle of the field and puts pressure on the LB , force double teams on WR can place single coverage on your TE .

Like Jimbo I also play engaged receivers are eligible for a pass. Talk about a pass into tight windows. The pass simulation sticks are used for my way of play.
