Scott,
This thread cracks me up because I know exactly where you're coming from. When your personal time is very limited due to work, kids, and just LIFE in general, its like an adrenaline rush just to have a little freedom to do your own thing. I hope you enjoyed it.
Joe

p.s. your work looks great!

I noticed your paints, are these the best paints to use? I am thinking of going to get some of that brand right now. I don't like how expensive the model paint (tudors paint) for such a small amount of paint, and it's too glossy for my liking.

Youre brand seems less glossy with more realistic skin tones and flat for jersey color.

these paints are not the best paints, but they are the cheapest and they get the job done. acrylics, made by apple barrel, folk art, cerema coat and i think one other. they are all in the same section, going from 89cents to about $1.50.
one thing i stumbled on everyone - i had to get my daughter, but i did not want my paint to dry up. i left it in the steamed bathroom with the shower running for about 20 minutes while i was gone. i came back, and the paint had thinned PERFECTLY to the point where it just glided on the figs. hhmmm.

anyway, here are the jerseys i did just before the family came home.
gotta do the skin tones ( i love different shades of skin tones - my favorite part). that i will do here and there when no one is looking. maybe tonight while i watch The Shield.
also, the picture my wife saw when she got home:rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl:
