I Started to work on the third figure, a thin model.

I wanted to keep it thin and looking fast, this short figure is not a good candidate for hard muscles, or it will looks like a pitbull or something like that :D

So I tried to keep that modern and tight look we can see on WRs, for example.

Here's the first pics of it.

I call it the "running back star" style. Dread locks, strong, tight jersey, eyeshield...For me it's the typical modern football athlete.

Now the 4 figures are drying. I'll finish (hands, mostly) them during the week, and paint a primer coating on it to fix the last defects and make the figures ready to paint.

Then they will fly to their next owner and coach. :D

the 2 first figures are completed. Now I'll wash and polish them, then I'll put a primer coat on it.

When you say polish, are you rubbing them with something?

Exactly. I wrote that post fast before going to work, now I can explain.

In fact, I wash the figure with clear water and soap.

Once it's done, I put a coat of acrylic primer (spray can). Then, once it'sd dry, I sand the major defects (but it never happens of course :rtfl: ), then I took an old tooth brush and some cheap toothpaste (white stuff, the cheaper the better).

Then, I rub the DRY toothbrush with some cheap toothpaste on the figure. I do it gently, but consistantly.

THen, I wash the figure again. It helps a LOT to have a nice figure surface.

In miniatures painting, there is 2 MAJOR things people forget about to obtain nice result : making a well finished good looking base (plateform), and be carefull on painting preparation.

REDSKINS?

what happened to Big Blue? I was so excited to see you develop an AWESOME giants team... and now you start a divisional rival? :rnt; :rnt; :rnt; :rnt;
:rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl:

they look good though... And your giants will need someone to kick around wnnrcgr

but lets see some more G-MEN!

the figures are not for me :D

the big blue are progressing : I finished to sculpt the QB, and I'm actually working on the decals.

But I've got other priority for now : tweaking bases for my steers squad and my niners defensive squad ;)
