I used wooden dowels for the goal posts and just painted them. Also, yes the board does run. This weekend I'll put up a youtube video and post it if you guys would be interested.

I put up a few videos on youtube with the board on it. It's two of the last 3 videos on my channel list. I'm still tweaking the adjustment bolts underneath to get the pieces to run consistant across the table. And I haven't tweaked any of my bases yet either, so I tested it with some of my fairly straight bases.

...then it looks like you may have to add a second motor. Then again, I like a fast board.:)

Yeah I think I'll need to add that second one also. When it was just running on the board it went pretty fast, but that field cover slows it down a bit. I have a wedding today to go to, but I think tomorrow I'll hook up my second motor and see how it works.
