I'm on board. Anxious to see how it turns out.

I must admit
coaches,
I must admit, for the first time everyone seems to be working together. Seems much progress has been made. Its coming together like the internet where all can connect with one another. can you give us a list of all the parties who are willing to cooperate with this venture. The west coast felt left out in the past and that is not the case anymore. great work so far. BUT WE CANT BE SATISFIED UNTIL WE ALL LOOK OUT THE WINDOW AND SEE A BIG MUSHROOM CLOUD. WE WILL THEN KNOW THE WAY WE DID BUSINESS IN THE PAST HAS BEEN NUKED !!!! THERE'S NOTHING LIKE THE SMELL OF NAPOM IN THE MORNING !!!MANTARAYDRE |
It is coming together. Bruce calls me at least twice a day to report on it and bounce ideas. He is doing a great job with this and he gets a big tip of the hat for his efforts to date.
All though, If he calls at 10pm again, my wife will personally kill the project and maybe Megawattz!! :D |

unlimited weight
Any world league would need to be unlimited weight. Besides who wants to convert to metric.....

Love what you guys are doing, trying to find a common point. Haven't read much of this thread but I used to think different rule sets were good and talking about this was just a waste of time. Now I still love different rule sets (preferably shoot out rules) but I like how I can come to this thread and not see :dohdh: :fghttt:  mtmstnks :rllngs: shkthbx: . Just arguments, its just good to see that the MFCA is getting somewhere with this.thmbsp$ thmbsp$ thmbsp$ Just input by the child on the forum, I don't know if you've discussed this or not, but I like the rule for fumbles when a player gets knocked over. Seems less random. Thanks, Taylor |
Taylor, I hear you bro! The defender knocking the ball carrier over and causing a fumble is extremely exciting during a game.
On the flip side, a ball carrier knocking a would be tackler on his arse only to keep on trucking is a broken tackle, both rules will have a room full of men jumping and yelling from the excitement this adds to the game. |
fallen players
Here I use these rules:
defender knocks the ball carrier, making him fall : fumble. I remove the 2 athletes on the field (it's the simplier way I found to have a realistic fumble recover for now), and allow pivots to all not engaged players of both sides. ball carrier knows a defender, making him fall : nothing happens. The defender had to be stronger :D |
Behind the scenes
Havnt had much to report lately, that doesnt mean work has halted on making this happen. Next month the Regional Reps. & myself will be flying to Kansas City to meet with Wolf & MFCA Reps. to set the agenda, draft a set of rules, finalize tourny dates & define what exactly are the goals of our efforts. I will continue to push towards cooperation between the Regions, without that its over before we get started. This will be a truly National effort, much work to do, many more challenges ahead, the idea at this point is to put a system in place, that promotes growth & cooperation. I'll give u guys a list of who's going to attend the KC Conference once plans are finalized. back at u peace.thmbsp$

Business use this that have reps and offices in different cities. Look at the cost for you guys to travel and compare it to the cost of using this site for a few weeks. just another option. mantaraydre |

I've also used a program called Mikogo in the past. www.mikogo.com
It's quite slick in which it allows the host to have a remote desktop going for up to 10 people while you are in conversation. It's handy for presentations and free to use. |
Kansas City Meeting
I would agree that this first meeting should be face to face and I hope that every one who needs to be there is able. We all understand how hard it is to schedule something like this without it conflicting with someones personal or work commitments.
Thanks, Bruce for taking this on. |
Kansas City
December 3 Fly into KC. KCI airport. We will be working on rules, rules rules for the PRO League and going over structure for the upcoming year of the PRO League. I will have hotel info sometime in the next 2 days. I do have 2 rooms available at my house (10 minutes from the airport) for anyone interested in saving a buck. Dec 5-Who wants a ticket to the CHIEFS-broncos game? I will need to know this by next Wednesday so that I can hunt tickets down for our end of the weekend tailgate party at Arrowhead. |
All times are GMT -4. The time now is 02:06 PM. |
