I realized that I didn't add my board to that topic !
So...It's a custom board, 42"x22" field (45"x25" overall size). The field is made with fiberboard, with vynil field cover. The board construction, graphics field design is made by me. The board 's got one switch on each side for each MF player, and a 12 positions rotary knob for voltage adjustement. The board is running with one motor, and is "compatible" with 3.0 grams (or less) and 4.0grams (or more) athletes. Here's little vids, and attached pics of it! |

We could profile the builder along with the coach and how there team is able to use the field as a home field advantage. |

Both fields are 24x48. The Cowboys field is made of 24 gauge metal and the Hawaii field was made of dry erase board.

Dry erase board ???
It looks great, how does it run and how were you able to get motors hooked up to it ? |
Still testing
Hi Jeff,
I tried testing it today with a single motor tweaking it across the board and caught a few dead spots. I think a 2 motor setup will work better. I like the dry erase board because it is smooth on both sides. Nice for mounting field covers and motor on back with double sided tape. Except for the dead spot areas, the players glided nicely across the field. Island Man |

Hey my man, can't remember if I ever did post my Skins board onto your thread here or not. But I'm posting today (better late than never, I guess). I will also be posting my, lets just say my "REVISED" board. Same frame & vinyl covering but I had David make me a new BROWNS field cover and place it onto another piece of sheet metal, then we (he) just switched out the Redskins sheet metal/field cover and replaced it with the Browns sheet metal/field cover, I'm pretty stoked at how good it turned out, here they are:

Some of the initial inspiration for the boards.
Attachment 50358 Attachment 50359 LA Coliseum. Made to look like a heavily played on field. The bullet shape was intentional, the end zone with the bleachers would have added about a foot and a half to the board. Not only impossible to transport, bu twould be really hard to play on. Attachment 50360 Attachment 50361 Old Tulane Stadium The original home of the New Orleans Saints. This was a tough one, not much photo documentation of this old stadium. Luckily, my dad saw a game there in the late 60's between the Saints and the Browns, so he was able to offer some guidance on the look of the field. The graphics on the field were taken from youtube clips of some early Saints games. Attachment 50363 Attachment 50364 Houston Astrodome I was surprised at how little overhead photo documentation that I was able to find on this. I managed a couple of good shots, though. Attachment 50365 Attachment 50366 Oakland-Alameda County Stadium One of my favorites to date. Love the baseball diamond. |

Post is just.....

In my opinion is the single best post on the board since it started. Look at a the great pics and boards. Awesome. It needs to have its own site or facebook page or something. thmbsp$ thmbsp$ |
Awesome!
I have a board that will fit well hit. Taking Pics!
I just went through each and every page. We have the most talented people you will ever find right here in this hobby! Hats off to all contributors! |

I agree. Especially for my own board :rtfl: More seriously, I like the side "trays" Chris do on his boards. It's fully playable (giving the opportunity to place the sideline players) and also good looking, giving a nice realistic touch (with the satellite views, now I understand the shape of the boards). |
