Read my post again, there could have been a mix up between the old and the new, call Margie at miggle and ask her for a few samples. These bases are first run bases. Mistakes occur especially when the color of the bases are identical. I'm 100% sure you got the old bases.

Just misconception. They do look alike. I really wasn't going to say anything initially but I built one and it's a star, plain and simple.

You can tell the difference several ways:

1. Slightly pinch the middle of each base with your thumb and index finger. You will notice much more resistance with the Super Proline.

2. Look at the front. No "fender bender" look. The fronts are perfectly rounded and need no coaxing.

3. The front reeds (brushes) underneath. The Reeds are set identical to first run prolines.

When I was compared them to my first run prolines, and I guarantee you I have a couple none of you will beat, even the best, I discovered:

1. There is more than one type of first run. I know next time I shop to get exactly what I want. I just grabbed anything but they all work fantastic. The actual first run are just as sturdy as the super proline yet slightly heavier.

2. At 4.0 you can get equal strength. Thay haven't pushed my Jim Burt or Rosie Greer, the players most strength coaches go after. However, when you consider the cost being 10x more, I'll take it, or buy a couple of more first runs.

3. Excellent, Excellent speed. Just as easy to tweak with equal results.

In summary, forget the color, these guys are nice! To my surprise!

Thank you Ken,

thanks for testing the base, this has been long over due. Finally we have what everyone wanted.

To all Miniature Football Players, it is very important that Miggle Toys stays as the main stream of our beloved hobby. If Miggle does not do well, we all won't do well. Our focus should be on endorsing all Miggle products to ensure they have a long and plentiful future.

The Landsman's have invested thousands of dollars for our behalf, for your hobby. There are other very talented people who make huge profits off the Miggle products and in some cases a little to much. If Miggle goes away, so do all the bases. We all owe a debt of gratitude to the Landsman's, for what they have done in the past, for what they are doing now and for what they will do in the future.

The new Super Pro Proline bases are an absolute gem, even people that lack tweaking skills will be able to tweak these and find great strength and speed. If we don't invest in Miggle, at some point they may not invest in us and that would be ashame. They have always been here for us, even hosting a tournament in bad economic times for the benefit of you.

Question?

Does/will Miggle have Super Prolines in all the different types; straight front, round front, speed, strong, TTC, etc.? What do the have right now?

V.P.
I spoke with Margie today and was told by her that you have a major part in the new bases.I believe on the formula of the old 1st runs?
I was also told you will be the tester on thesebases.I have not heard you or anyone else give you credit for the new bases for your part.
I for one would like to say thanks.

Thanks Doug

PS: Long live Miggle
