He had boils against Norbert and Norb was in dat tail and there have been many more advances in base tweaking.:nhnh:

National...

I'm with you! This list has been went to the dawgs!

If you base it on the ability to play multiple styles leagues and tournaments and win. (I'm listing rules and styles of play that I have seen these guys play but they may have not won the championship but had great success.) The top 10 over the past 5 years are...

1. Adrian Baxter (Everything)
2. Brian Nutt (Dixie, Shootout, BamaBlast)
3. Tom Johnson (BEFL, NEFL, Buzzball, Seawall.)
4. Butch Carter (Dixie, Seawall, Miggle)
5. Keith Chalmers (BEFL, NEFL, BamaBlast, Seawall)
6. Joe Greco (Everything)
7. National (Everything)
8. Mike Robertson (Shootout, CBSMF, BAMABlast, Seawall)
9. Jim Davis (Great Lakes, Shootout, Miggle)
10. Kevin Boddie (NEFL, BAM, MPFL, Shootout)

Top 10 League Champions and tournament champions in familiar styles of play.

1. Mike Robertson (DFW, CBSMF, Shootout, Open Run)
2. Brian Nutt (Dixie, Bama Blast)
3. Greg Hardmon (Great Lakes, Miggle)
4. Celo (LAFEL)
5. Tom Johnson (NEFL)
6. Adrian Baxter (Multiple)
7. Al Harvey (NEFL)
8. Butch Carter (Dixie, Miggle)
9. Joe Greco (BAM)
10. Anthony Burgess (MPFL)

There has to be a bases or foundation on how you determine the rankings. Otherwise its a "my favs" list! Like Jim's list is! haha

sweetka 11-21-2010 07:06 PM

Gotta agree!

Playing a ton by the same style under different names does not constitute greatness.

Adrian Baxter is clearly my tournament choice. He hasn't won Miggle but I personally saw him get robbed one year he had a great team.

League play is a whole different matter. There are so many dynamics involved with it. I think that tournament play should dictate who is number one overall.

Just my thoughts!

broncoman 11-21-2010 09:46 PM

wow 32

say NATIONAL,JIM has me at 32 after all the first and second places in league and tournaments. if he checked my records i would be higher.
BAMA BLAST, MIGGLE, TEXAS, LAEFL AND DUEL IN DESERT. ALSO GREEN ROOM RUMBLE.

Here is the deal. Jim Davis has every right to post HIS list of top 50. You don't have to agree with him. You don't have to like it, but there is no reason he can't post his feelings on this. It is a legitimate subject for some. No one is forcing anyone to read it and no one is asking you to post your opinion on HIS list. You certainly can post because this is a forum, but keep it on subject! It is only in fun and only reflects one persons opinion.

I removed the off subject posts and moved this back up to where it belongs. Anyone who can't control themselves and drags this off subject will receive a warning.
