Mock Draft of Electric Football Coaches
If you were to have one guy coach your team for a game for a $100,000 game, who would it be...let's draft the coach. Here is the rules...if you add to this thread you can:
a) Only make one selection b) Cannot pick somebody who has already been selected So, with the first pick in the Mock Draft of EF Coaches...Tom Ruesink selects: Adrian Baxter Who's next at #2 1) Adrian Baxter |
With the 2nd pick
Scott Hooper takes...........
2) Norbert Revels |
TVsCHACHI is on the clock...
Pick #3
3) JEA$YMONEY |
RAIDERMAN
|
Weirdwolf selects Mike Pratt
|
Draft
Fun thread...ok so far I've got:
1) Ruesink: Adrian Baxter 2) Hooper: Norbert Revels 3) Chachi: Jim Davis 4) Hitmen: Raiderman 5) Wolf: Mike Pratt Do I sense a midwest/east coast/buzzball bias???:D :D :D :D Who is next? Still a lot of coaches with upside...no reach picks except for Weirdwolf's selection of Pratt...some scouts say he's too old and he's lost a step :rtfl: :rtfl: As for the drug test...well let's just say that he swears they were pain medication!! |
I would select.................

Lets go back to the rules of the thread??

My vote is for Doug Shanafelt aka Boston21

The good man (among many) in the BMEFA ... Will Travers.

Mock Draft of EF Coaches
OK, this is Minneapolis Tom (a.k.a. Mel Kiper)...analyzing the picks thus far. Definite value pick for Jimbo getting DC Smith at #15...most analysts thought he'd go in the top 10...same with his father at #12.
Ron Bell at 13...I think he's won miggle about 3-4 times so there's some definite upside there. I don't know Boston 21...don't have much film on him, comes from a smaller school and his 40 time was a bit suspect. As for Dre...definitely failed the steroids test as he violated the rules by picking a coach that had already been taken and also picking 3...hopefully he'll join in and grab a coach (in a hobby sort of way) later. Still some top coaches out there...who will be next? 1) Ruesink: Adrian Baxter 2) Hooper: Norbert Revels 3) Chachi: Jim Davis 4) Hitmen: Raiderman 5) Wolf: Mike Pratt 6) National: Tom Johnson 7) Raven Maniac: Simmie Lassiter 8) Wolverine Fan: Greg Hardmon 9) Detroit Child: Ken Allen 10) Guttmann: Vince Peatros 11) Boston21: Mike Robertson 12) Coach J: Don Smith 13) Ravenna Al: Ron Bell 14) Grand Master KC: Kelvin Lomax 15) Jimbo: DC Smith 16) RPD: Doug Shanafelt (Boston 21) |

1) Ruesink: Adrian Baxter 2) Hooper: Norbert Revels 3) Chachi: Jim Davis 4) Hitmen: Raiderman 5) Wolf: Mike Pratt 6) National: Tom Johnson 7) Raven Maniac: Simmie Lassiter 8) Wolverine Fan: Greg Hardmon 9) Detroit Child: Ken Allen 10) Guttmann: Vince Peatros 11) Boston21: Mike Robertson 12) Coach J: Don Smith 13) Ravenna Al: Ron Bell 14) Grand Master KC: Kelvin Lomax 15) Jimbo: DC Smith 16) RPD: Doug Shanafelt (Boston 21) 17) Roo: Will Travers 18) JEasyMoney: Big Keith Chalmers (how did he fall to 18???) 19) Norbert: Butch Carter |
With Money on the Line...
Adrian selects...... Bryan Nutt
Love his championship winning percentage! -Adrian- |
I say Vince Peatros goes straight to the top! Too bad the rest of the country has never had a chance to see the EF genius this man is and has been for a very long time.
|
Someone has to chime in with
Charles Lane, Sr......
IMHO, he IS the hobby's best kept secret. -Adrian- |
Coach Shabby J we know you love vince very much :rtfl: but are you picking a coach or not ?
|
I've picked Vince. Pick again James. LOL
|
My pick
When on his game he is hard to beat, I know AB will like this. Anthony Hough (BEFL) & Buzzfeast weighted Champ.

Man that means alot thanks Norbert and Jim Davis. That is a huge compliment I was going to pick Bryan Nutt with Joel Pritchard as the Speed and Strength coach. Looks like Baxter drafted Beenutt so I will take Joel Pritchard.

I've never even met him
but I hear that Edgar Downs is pretty good, so he is my pick.
|
Edgar is past his prime!!!!!!
Still on the board
Mike Turner Joe Greco Brian Healey Tom R. CorEy Johnson Andrew Stewart RR David Redmond Charles Lane Ernie Grice George Diamond Just to name a few!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to agree, there are some mind boggling picks on that board. I'm sure the style of play would be a big factor! DFW, LAEFL, BAM - Robertson BEFL - Lomax MPFL - Burgess Miggle - Ron Bell SWB - The Kid When I think of those styles of play, those are the names that come to mind. Most any other style you can throw ADRIAN BAXTER's name in the hat. Even tho Raiderman has won 2 straight NHFL titles, he has never beaten the two champs before him, so there's an * with his titles. Just a note here. It's easy to win with the better stuff, ie., Talent on your team. Could the guy you are picking beat you with his team, then turn around, and then beat you again playing with your team?! That's coaching Miniaturefootball style!!!! Nat'l 6/13/06 Will you be there? www.leaguelineup.com/phillynefl |
Hey Corey you missed it but Charles Lane has already been picked.
