McFarlane Mini Team Sets Unvieled
 

Here they are. Not what I was anticipating. They are 2" figures. Too big for electric football. Oh well, they will at least make a good collectors item. Go to www.spawn.com under news. :(

yeah, i thought that there would be some more dynamic poses than just pre-snap static. oh well, there's plenty of other figures out there to choose from.

Now that the cat is out of the bag please speak to us! Are your figures going to be available or not? :confused:

I'm still holding out...maybe the down lineman will work out. The article says "Each set features eleven separate figures in a two-inch scale, sculpted to form the starting formation just before the ball is snapped."

Note it says "two-inch scale" not two inches tall. What scale are our men? Are they O-scale? If so what is that in inches? Maybe I'm reaching but sometimes the folks who write these articles don't have the info correct. But then again maybe they wrote it like this because some of the men are bent over.

Yes, I am proceeding with the production of detailed miniature figures! Here is pic of the first pose that is going to production. I have hired a talented team of sculptors who are very excited about working in the smaller scale just as they were when sculpting larger poses for McFarlane Toys. The sculpts are designed specifically for electric football play, therefore there will be no question in terms of leauge or tournament play!

You do marvelous work! Your figures are truly sculpted works of art! Since this will be my last year of electric football, I look forward to my retirement! I have recently disovered the joy of painting and decaling. These new figures that you will be presentling will take this hobby to another dimension! I'm truly happy for your success! There's no quitting in electric football!!! I'm assuming your dieing!! Alas poor Tron, I knew him well...well, not well, but good enough>>>NO RETIREMENT!!! :cool:

I will be introducing single figures at first and then eventually sets in a series. Various RBs, LBs, QBs etc... will be produced for articulation, and yes I will do a center pose! The figures will come in all white HIPS on a sprue to allow for some additional customizing. The first run will be completed for fall competition!

That's not right and we gotta wait till august. I'm gonna go crazy lol

Hips on sprues for customizing. Centers with neck guards and it looks like the QB has on underarmour. Running backs with gloves. Everything is already on these figures. Skin showing in between knee pads and socks. Shirt folds and awsome looking shoulder, knee and thigh pads. This is what I am looking for.

Great idea norbert, make it a limited thing where each MFCA member who submits $$$ for support would get in return is a pair of each figure created to start. everyone would be giving the same limit to start with to help push this along. Once production catches up, all would be available to purchase whatever.......

Just an Idea, what do you think???????
