Tennessee Uniforms
 

GOD, I HOPE NOT!!! I just turned on the Tennessee - South Carolina game.

These have got to be the ugliest uniforms in college football history. Probably wouldn't be as bad with white pants, but with the orange pants - UGGGGLY!!!

Halloween Uniform
 

Halloween was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw them. Wife said the same thing. In 1963, UT did wear a uniform that is often refered to as the "Halloween" uniform. It was an orange jersey with a white - black - white "UCLA" style sholder stripe.

The Average Tennessee Fan is Flabbergasted!!!

over Joel P's Cocky, it still not a look we would recommend for Tennessee. I hope they hide those unis for the next 100 years.

It's all about marketing but no where in the school's mission statement does it say Orange and Black. I wish I could go back to Tennessee and get my masters degree. I miss being on "The Hill" and sitting in Neyland Stadium overlooking the Tennessee River and tailgating and doing everything that is Big Orange. (I digressed to 1979-84)

But yeah, in 2005 Tennessee tried to change its unis to a terrible combination introduced by Nike. I think Oregon, Nebraska, Penn State and someone else had contracts with that company. As you can see, Oregon and Nebraska caved in to the changes and Penn State and "The Vols" were so heavily criticized by fan support that they went back to their traditional look.

Penn State is the best looking uniform in the country other than ND and Michigan and Tennessee. Some things you don't mess with! Never mess with the Orange and White combination!

Even though the Gamecocks were an embarrassment on National TV. They gave the game away in the first two possessions. But if I was a Vols player I would be embarrassed to have had to wear those uniforms.:eek:

Those uniforms... They're just 'agin nature!
