that is a great board ! what are the dimensions ?

That was great, the wr used the stiff arm and pushed the defender 10 yards for the td.

It's my big board design. 1/2" = 1 yard on the playing surface. Total dimensions of the board are 68" x 35". The playing surface is interchangeable. Attached is a pic of the board.

Jerry...that was great video. I've seen many a coach curse that RB figure but in this case he used that stiff arm to his advantage just perfectly! But the second video was even better...I like yours son's reaction (or lack of enthusiam) for the Bills score against the Colts. Nice field and teams.

LOL

I thought your son was going to turn the table over and smash that DB

Hi,

One thing I don't understand on the first vid, your WR is hitting the defender, then is allowed to continue his run.

On the rulesets I readed (and try to follow as a newbie), when a defender hit a offense player (especially in your vid, with the "front base tackle rule" ), it's a tackle, no ?

Thanks your for the explaination thmbsp$

edit : seeing the vid carefully, it appears that the defender base doesn't really touch the WR base, is it why you do not declare the tackle ?

That's exactly the reason. Almost all leagues, with maybe a few exceptions, only consider it a tackle if the bases touch.

I wasn't thinking about that at all !

It means that if I do for example a running back with a well designed arms position, I can make it almost unstoppable (if defenders "attacks" him from his front)

or use a "blitzer" ff.net figure, modify it to make a offense "diver" too...

Or, like in the vid, a widereceiver with an arm in the interior side of his gaming position...

A whole new concept for me

Frenchy
If your reciever or back is weak he may be pushed back instead of going forward.

My Corners are some of my strongest players and they would blow that reciever up!!!:fghttt: :fghttt:

Yes, you're right, but making a figure a certain way/position, I guess you certainly can make it more or less "tackling friendly" :rtfl:

But perhaps it's too far from the game spirit ?

I think my receiver and tackler happened to lock up in a very unusual position and the physics of that kind of lock up are very rare. If I ran that play 100 times over, more than likely the tackler would have touched the receivers base and he would have been down before he go to the endzone.

As far as corners blowing up receivers comment...blah, blah, blah...whatev! If you've got a strong base you probably don't have the speed at corner and your corner would have never made it to the receiver in this play. If you look at the video closely the fight could have gone either way, the corner could have blown up the receiver but that was not the case and the receivers base happened to have the stronger angle and momentum...gotta love the plastic! I'll be demonstrating this more at the Buzzball tournament, so bring your corners and I'll let my 1980's San Diego Chargers Chuck Muncie and company give the rook a lesson. :rtfl: :fghttt: Grecko's also on my list! :D

I love this game!
