Knowing John its probably beer! IRON CITY BABY! That would make a great fantasy team. The Iron City Bruise! lol I hope people det it. Iron City is a Pittsburgh beer so instead of Brews it would be Bruise. $br# :D

Basically, sawy dust IS modelling flock. You can vary the size of it. You can also use other stuff like mixed cork ;)

You can also stain it with diluted acrylic paint, or acrilyc ink. Or paint it. personaly on that type of figures, I prefer to paint it, like you do too.
