Chachi, what Margie had me do is select a painted team @ $11 for a pack of Super proline strong TTC's and chinstraps or facemasks for $10 for the Super proline rookies and then make a note as to such in the online order, however, you should call as well just so she has a heads up, she'll want your name.

I ordered them Tuesday...hope they come today so I can check them from a newer self-tweaker perspective and of course I'll take Kingpin up on his offer as well to gauge where I'm at w/them.

why is it no one else ask what you are asking???? I have a lot of pm and not one has asked what you have. It's obvious to several people that there is a conspiracy coming from your part of the country. I will respecfully decline your offer as it has no merit. The community does not need you or norberts stamp of approval, after all look what you and Norbert approved last time. You two approved a lessor product that was put in production and we see how that went.

This is to illustrate to the community that the product is just as good as the first runs, heck there killing the second runs and the third runs. This hobby is bigger than all of us and I think it's high time we all leave our egos and hidden agendas at the door, myself included. Miggle toys must make financial growth or this hobby will not servive. My personal feeling is this, if you and Norbert what the stamp of approval I suggest you invest you own money and resources to accomplish this. That being said I will refer both of you to several companies that can assist you in the process, not to mention the cost it would take to make the cast for the bases.

This is not to put you on blast, but there will be no special preferences for you at all, I can pull out you and norberts stamp of approval bases and just wonder how they ever got approved.

You also have been supported by "This part of the Country also". Please leave your comments to Jim or Norbert. I have spoken on the matter and no, I am not a base distributor. However, Mike Robertson and others have stated that I have some of the best talent in EF/MF and that conversation included everyone. Just look at that college tape Jeff did. That's just a small sampling.

True, there were criticisms of my post but I back what I say. Please be aware that we are individuals in the region. We don't just go with the flow here. One could say out there you are so viewed as the MF messiah that you could put a stand-still down and people will post how strong and fast it is. You guys only know of two tweakers in our league and at one point you could point to Jim and Norbert. But I will put Myself, Simmie (when he's into it) Jamel, BP, Greg, Chuck P and others in the same class. So please direct your issues with them and not all of us.

Now, about the bases again. I brought one pack of each, One. I have a base that's fast and gets away, not super strong. I have another base that strong and could play nose on any team in this league. One thing that I did fail to mention is whether or not they hold a tweak. There is a drop off after a couple of days but that is any base to me until final adjustments are made.

Vince I'm not saying that the base is not good, but i am saying that the base is not 1st run plastic like you say it is and is not as good as a 1st run proline base as you say it is. but it's not to me and thats just my 2 cent.

so what I'm saying is the new super proline bases do not have the same plastic as a 1st run proline base. and the new base is not as good as a 1st run proline base but the base is a good base.
if a 1st run proline base is a 10 to me then the new super proline base is a 7.0 to a 7.5 maybe a 8.0 but thats just me.
now if you can tweak them as good as you say then can you tweak some for me just send me 5 new super proline bases so i can see what yal out west are seeing.
and you know the east is best when it comes to tweaking you got so many very good tweakers in the east and maybe 2 or 3 if that many out west.
and I'm not trying to bad talk the west but it is what it is.

Ken, if you knew who I was referring to you should never have to defend yourself. Secondly any base will Lose there strength. Jim I have seen with my own eyes you and norberts bases getting pushed around out here as if they were playing on ice, by more than 8 or 9 coaches. The first run bases are great, but so are these you just may have to learn how to tweak these differently.

Ken if you are offended that was not the intent, that being said I apologize. Again this is not about egos, it's about the long lasting survival of our hobby, heck I can make ttc bases stronger than first run proline rookies, now what??????? Can I say that these first run proline bases are not good too????

As I see it, it will always be east against the west with little respect for out west. All we know is that the vest tweakers reside out west, we've seen it first hand numerous times watching bases with letters written on the back of them flying backwards with little resistance. There will never be any ground breaking with you guys. I'm done.

If you guys ecer read what I wrote we would not be having this debate. I said the new bases are just as good as the first run proline bases, we somehow out here are able to tweak them better than you out that way, but that's no surprise because we are the better tweakers.

Rick garrison just recieved some bases for his son from Norbert to see how they would do, he gave his son the bases to put on his team, he turned the board on and started laughing at the bases and then made the comment heck I tweak better than this, vince taught me how to tweak. Needless to say those bases were thrown out. So if that is what is being classified as the best tweakers, I wouldn't brag!!!!!! By the way, he is 17 and just started playing electric football last year.

I'm glad we had this conversation, I will not revisit it.

Vince, again, I don't appreciate my post being lumped with everyone else. Could you please separate my post from others. My post was in support of the SP's and I actually agree that they are better than last year. My main point is that I don't lump people together and my mission in this hobby is to not diss anyone who puts one ounce of energy into the hobby, including yourself. Whatever Jim says is between you and he. I thought we had a POSITIVE dialogue wherein EAST and WEST agreed if that is the perspective you want to look at.

Nothing offends me here because I don't take anything personally. My point was to simply say that I will not judge everyone based upon ONE or TWO people whether EAST, WEST, NORTH, or SOUTH! We are one in my eyes.

With respect to TTC's being stronger than prolines that is a definite yes. Base to Base the TTC is both heavier and more compact. The value of the Prolines in our league went up significantly when we went to 4.0. That weight level allowed not only Prolines, but regular rookie bases to thrive again in our league. If we were playing weight restriction, ie, base to man weight only, you probably would not see many Prolines or rookie bases on my team. In that case I would use a TTC and get the same speed + control + power, as a straight rookie.

The best tweakers are the ones who have their players playing stellar on game day IMHO.

Just as one of your leaguemates said, we are individuals, I am tired of everything leading back to the West being bad with you.

You have regularly trashed us over the last couple of years with no reason. I guarantee if you came out here and played LAEFL Shootout rules you would be hooked. Our rules are years ahead of traditional shootout rules.

Let's see if I can answer your question properly and fairly. I will make an appearance this coming year. I can honestly say it's all economics at this point. Money plays a role and money these days are tight.

However there is an alternative, why don't many of you from your region venture out west for the college open run tournament or better yet play in the PAC 10. At some point players from the Midwest and the south will have to equally participate in our venues. We always have representation from out west at a lot of the tournaments, we are not playing in japan, we are right here in the states. If you guys chose to make more of an effort maybe then and only then would I readily be more available to come towards that region.

I look forward to meeting you one day and gettin a little game on.
