I wrote a new article for MFCA.org, so if you want to add real hands on your figures....Here's my technic for that job. Easy (even for beginners) and fast ltsplbll

You probably could use this same technique for chinstraps, wristbands, towels etc.....!!!

you're right. Basically, sculpting follows a basic guideline :

1)create rought geometric simple shape : sphere, line, square, etc...

2)recut it to make the shape you want

3)assemble the basic shapes

4)reshape the basic shapes with sculpting tools

Personaly, I don't think you need to make complete teams with that technic. You can "cheat" on several figures, and keep that technic for "personalities" : your star players. Especially on defense squad, or receivers.
