It's been since 1987 " 20 years ago " since I sat down and painted a complete team, so, I hope I get some prop for my effort tryin to get back into the game lol. thanks to the fella's on here who's looking out for one another on this site, I might just make it on here......

Bucs!

Wow, your first team with 50 players is an aggressive start back into it- they look good! The colors look great, do you mind sharing what paints you used for these? Also, just so you know in the future, Beenut decals have both home and away numbers, helmet decals, misc. decals, and STRIPES so you don't have to paint them (www.beenut.com). You picked a tough team to start painting with those leg stripes but they look good. Are they going to be current roster or maybe the older super bowl team?

My Beloved Bucs!

Sweet team choice! I still have a few of my haindpainted striped BUCS as a reminder of the pre-decal days. Since then I converted to decals and that team is currently ranked #3 in the World looking for another shot at the World Championship this weekend in Virginia! See any of "The Seawall BRAWL" posts for more info and welcome back to The Greatest Hobby on Earth!

Yeah.....Do tell what paints/colors you used..Very nice....As the previous post stated,if you need shoulder/number decals Beenutt is one of the best.

My Color Scheme was....

The " Testors " Enamel Email Paints. Your looking at a mixture of Steele & Brown Brun, just keep adding drops of Brown into a nice size puddle of Steele until you see a vision of a silverish brown two tone glare.
That Jersey Color is your tipacle " Gloss " Red Rouge.

:D Man, you fella's are alright!, thanks for the great comments, I mentioned on one of my last clips, I have'nt picked up a paint brush since 1987, and 1 time in 1999 for my son who asked me to make Bronco's in white and Buccanneers in Road Unies That was the last time I saw a EFL Board in Oklahoma being sold on the shelves.
I miss the Game alot, and things have really change dramatically, and it's not in a bad way neither!

ivsoptionsondeck 06-26-2007 02:38 PM

These are the SuperBowl Buccanneers with a Cadillac addition added

I added Mr. Williams from 2 years after winning the SuperBowl Draft pick to give me a little depth at running back. he's a smaller " Regular Size " Running back playing with 67" Players I gave him what he disserve's and what he's come accustomed to being, a diamond in the rough wink..

It's a Fantastic Website!!, Kudo's Beenutt

With 2 t's lol., is there enough on an order to cover 50 players when the purchase is 35 dollars on Complete Set Of Team Decals?
My other Question would be is, having the names of all the players that played in SuperBowl XXXVII on defense two times and offense two times for Home unies, and Away unies, I'd also like to add Williams to that Offensive Roster. do I have to write those names down for you when I purchase them for ya? or do you already know there Roster?

paint

What paint did you use for the bucs helmet/pants for the sparkle effect? Would a liquitex irridesent antique gold be a good color?

I did my own mixing " never use the one your talking about or even know where to find it lol. " .
taking 2 color's , " Steele Silver , and Brown " start with Steele being the most, then, tear drop in your brown in your puddle of Steele, you'll see a two toned affect come about soon enough.
keep testing your drops first by mixing the colors extremely good before mixing all of your Brown in your Steele.
And one more Side note, try eyeballing a photo for the color as you blend the two..

And is a entertainment i've missed for almost 23 years.
I could'nt wait to get started making teams again after seeing all the new accessories that these MEN invented to make the game so much more realistic..
I was hooked all over!... did'nt hesitate to get started and jumped in head first lol....
Now, i'm almost 9 Teams Strong, with three still being reshaped to look different then the stock player's of old. Making the player's look different really is a new challenge now...
Thanks for reopening my first post when I came back on the scene! ltsplbll

It was exciting seeing them come onto form, I ended up using the Buccaneers Practice Jersey Numbers on these players.. They turned out nice with chin straps & face mask.
