Congrats to Season 1 MFCAL CHAMPION....
 

Corey Johnson!! The "national one" scored the highest points as well as the highest number of quality win points to secure his place in the top spot for our first ever MFCAL season! Corey will have one spot in the championship game to be played on Sunday at the convention against the CPC champion for the ring. He also wins a great trophy to be awarded at the convention.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the first year league! We hope to expand on it this next year. We had 74 coaches participate this year with 6 coaches completing the full season: Corey Johnson, Jim Davis, Joel Pritchard, Don Lang, Joe Greco and Steve Martin. The largest jump in the standings due to quality win points goes to Greg Hardmon who gathered an astounding 32 QW points in only 6 games. If he would of completed all 8 games, who knows..? A lot of other games could have been recorded, but often coaches forgot to agree on the game before playing. The goal for this next year will be to get a greater number of coaches completing the full 8 games and we have made this easier to achieve by now allowing each coach to play 2 coaches twice. There is a greater benefit to playing 8 different coaches because of quality win points, but this will give every coach, regardless of their area, a chance to get in the top spots. Thanks to the mfca & B.O.D. for putting this league together. It was really a lot of fun. Being in such a huge league (nefl) was a big asset to getting all my games played.
Each league needs to make it mandatory that all games played goes towards the mfca - league. The Mid-Ohio missed out on a lot of games and I'm sure a few others did as well. It's hard to remember to agree before the game so just make every game count.

I'm still in shock.....this is usually Jim Davis or Greg Hardmon winning this stuff. Lomax had a great run as well.
Winning this helps to take away some of the sting of losing in the nfc championship game on a blocked FG att!!!!:rnt; :dohdh: :fghttt:

In closing I would like to encourage everyone to support this and other mfca events and contest....without the coaches we have nothing.

Knowing I wouldn't be able to complete that many games with anyone 4 to 6 hundred miles from my state?!
Congrates to the National, but I could have sworn I was given an option to be apart of the MFCAL Games.... I know I picked to count me out because I wasn't able to be all over state like you other fellas's ?!
Oh well...lol ...... it's funny seeing I was even a part of this when I didn't feel like it at the MID DaY Melee... I see that's how I got my points I didn't want documented.... oh well......
