My gamefield accessories

Hi,

On that topic I'll show you my game field accessories.

These days, since I work for myself only now, I built my 10yard chain marker...according to my own taste :D

Here's a sneak preview of it. I'll explain how to make the same from A to Z (modelling, sculpting, painting, detailing) in the next Tweak magazine issue. So, if you want to know how to do it...suscribe :rtfl:

The French Connection

You are a very talented man. Great field, figures and ideas. We should call you the French Connection.

I'm very interested in this one Dmitri. Can't wait. thmbsp$

Nice!!

the french guy 10-28-2010 03:12 AM

I knew it would be a nice addition thmbsp$

My idea was to put additionnal figures on the field that you can really use during the game. I've got several other ideas you'll see soon !

Here's a daylight pic to show you the scale of it. Like in real life, athletes are bigger than the linemen officials :D

I think it worths the time you'll build them, since it will be a nice replacement for standard 10yard chain. It's the same (I think) with real aluminium real scale goal posts I made before.

I have to work a little more on the white official, he looks like he's wearing sun glasses...but he's not, actually :rtfl:

That is really cool!!

Dimitri,

This is one of the coolest things I've seen. You hit this outta the park!!!

Sublime!!

There have been others, but these are the sweetest. I can't wait for this article!

WEIRDWOLF 10-28-2010 10:07 AM

I had one thought from my model railroad days. They make scale chain also. The strength isn't the same, but it would look great on there.

looking goodthmbsp$

the french guy 10-28-2010 01:20 PM

Yes, the biggest issue is the overscaled chain, but I had only this one available :D

thanks for the comments, and @k-lo, your 10yard chain crew is cool too ! I probably saw it when I arrived on the board...I remember have seen that setup before.

The tutorial will be in next issue of tweak. I have to make a final daylight pic with teams on the field, and write the text in the usual awfull frenglish :rtfl:

Coach K-LO 10-28-2010 02:19 PM

Thanks for the link, Wolf. Makes looking for more chains easy.

looking forward to the article too.

the next one I do will be for the Seahawks field.......

go to the ReDskins post from Frenchy and you can see the final figures. Once I get a chance to paint them....well you will see...... too bad I cannot think of too many redskins that have dreads.......

It's why I asked you before I add the hair on the fig :D Now you'll have to dig the depth charts to find a matching player :rtfl:
