Look for these teams...

10 Attachment(s)
in a national TV ad for Little Caesars Pizza. Just two 11-man teams of mini McFarlanes. They wanted generic teams, and this was the best I could do in a day and a half. The names are of people in their office, plus I added my kids, and myself. Look for the commercial soon. It's good exposure for the game. Hope you all approve.

Any idea on how they are basing those up? You did a great job in a very short amount of time. I'm praying they don't have them running every which way.

And here is how far we have come in our figure making, just over the past few years.......

It wasnt until i read Marlons post that i knew they were Mcfarlane figs. In just glancing at the pics first, i assumed they were Jennings, Wattz, or any other persons figures.

I LOVE THOSE FIGURE POSES!!!!!!!

Great work!!!

if they are EF size, how do we get some?????????????

dallcow4life28 11-30-2010 10:55 AM

Figures

Guys, these are 3 inch mini-McFarlane figures. Too big for us EF'ers, but I love some of the poses.

Wolf, to answer your question, they apparently are going to film this thing in such a way that the figs are made to look like MF men, and running on a field. They are sending me more figs that have been sculpted holding pizza boxes, as well. These guys spent hundreds on the figures and drop-shipped em to me, and that was before the paint. I told em I just wanna see these men on TV.

And B-hard, you are right. They say if you're gonna start a business, do something you love. There are very few things in life I love more than EF. It has always been a part of me, even though there have been long lay-offs at times. I can't shake this bug, and it's great to be able to make somewhat of a living do this. Looking for much bigger things in the near future, so stay tuned.

Also, there is no way I could have done this all so fast with the help of my beautiful wife, Tameka, and sons, Kobe, and Eric. They are always willing to help. Thanks fam.!ppls$

Thanks, as well, to the MFCA, who will always have a link on my site!!!thmbsp$

This is so true--but I still love the fab-5. Customs are what we dreamed of as kids, and now we have to see where some of these talented customizers take this.

Update

Just saw the commercial during the Little Caesars Bowl. NOT MY PAINT!!! !@%@&@*HOLES. The advertising company had a dispute with McFarlane after I did the painting. However they assured me they would still use my figs. I noticed that they did use some of the figures I painted, and painted over them. @&#*#(#(HOLES! What a letdown, but I understand the reasons for it. Anyway the ad was nice (even with the crappy paint jobs), and a good look at EF on the big stage. I'm a little mad, but since I was compensated nicely, I'll just drink another Yueng Ling, and raise a toast to EF. Peace:confused:

CowboyMike 12-26-2010 11:04 PM

sorry to hear that

Sorry to hear that Marlon. I understand how that crap happens with t.v. Last minute changes!! Well they should at least give you free pizza pizza for life.

Thanks, Mike--good lookin out. I wanna still speak them, and see their reasons for pulling the switch on my stuff. They did use some of those McFarlanes, though--interesting:confused: . Notice they used very similar colors to the men I painted, and I noticed many of the same jersey numbers. They were trying to be slick.

Coach K-LO 12-27-2010 10:26 AM

too bad

too bad they could not keep it as the deal was signed........

..... on your next gig, make sure you get that "pressed out" before you sign on....
