What's your top 5 passers????
#5 Hudson - DFW legend, can really air it out!!!!!
#4 Mike Turner - MFCA HOF is a one handed guy who uses his thumb to throw. #3 Raiderman - Always makes the safe throws and rarely misses them! #2 James Crews - Hit passes that most would never even attempt. #1 Andrew Stewart - I have been all over the country watching and playing, I have never seen a guy so accurate. You have to get under his skin, or distract him. That's the only way you can get him to miss. I usually just turn my defenders if he has a guy open. Can hit all the passes, short, long, in traffic, and make them look easy! My honorable mention - Don Smith, CorEy, Frank Jacobs, Baxter, Greg H, Mike R, Paul Daniels & Celo Nat'l |

#5 - SIMMIE LASITER #4 - REGGIE RUTLEDGE #3 - rAIDERMAN #2 - BAXTER #1 - BRIAN NIXON - BEST PASSER EVER SEEN.PERIOD. TOO BAD HE HAS LONG SINCE RETIRED |
Man look at what I started!!!!!!!
That's going to be a good game. Jim use your Miggle team vs RM...thats 3.3
How do you throw in the GLEFL???? I have to take RM on this one!!!! Sorry Hulk......... Jim you are too much of a homer to do list my friend. I know Greg is a very good passer. Ask Kenny if I can pass. Lomax, Brian Nixon........Really? The guy never played anyone. What are some of these guys scores in the MFCA skills event???? Tom R is another great passer. Him and Andrew have perfect scores to their credit. What ball is used in the GLEFL....Im not giving any credit to anyone throwing with that big pill ball!!!!!!!!!!! Nat'l |
Top 5 Passers
Gosh, there are so many elite ones in this hobby...
Baxter, Raiderman, Ron Bell, Norbert, Greg, Chuck L is one of the best pure passers I've seen, Jamel, Andrew Stewart, Mike R, Reggie, B-Nutt, Don/DC, Mike T...I'm sure I've missed some great ones... Take your pick and give me any one of the remaining guys to throw for me and I'd be happy. The best I've personally seen in tournament finals and semifinals has been Baxter. I remember playing him in a DC tournament where it was double-elimination and he came through the losers bracket and I went through the winners bracket. When we played our final 2 games, he missed a total of 1 pass between the 2 games. |
Cory
We dont allow big pills balls for passing never have in the GLEFL
|
Yeah I like that Grg!!!!!!!!
Now that's going to cost you when we get on the board Grg!!!!!!:fghttt:
It's CorEy with an EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :dohdh: :rtfl: Chuck L is streaky, so his Joe G and Brian Healey. When those guys are hot, it's over, but they go cold, and I have seen that......it's bad! Adrain takes too long to pass. If I can sit there forever and look down the barrel I wouldn't miss either. I remember watching him pass at the SWB I was watching, answered my cell phone and took a gulp of soda and he still hadn't passed the ball.  mgngcrz Those guys on my list and honorable mention rarely have bad days if at all. And they fire quickly!!!! Shout out to Pratt, before the back went, he was deadly. Nat'l |

Thanks Adrian. I didn't even think you knew I existed!! :rtfl: I should NOT be #1 on any list. Maybe if I hit that pass that set up the game winning field goal at the last Buzzfest tourney. I still think about that STUPID pass and it makes me sick. :rnt; I think that's why George won't have another Buzzfest. He likes to see me miserable! mgngcrz
Jim, stop it already. I already won the game on paper AND CorEy says that I'll win. That's all we need. Besides, I'm using all Norbert bases on my team. He is, was and always will be a better tweaker than you are. So stop it. Just worry about finding us a good Chinese Buffet in C-bus. RAIDERMAN |
Everyone exists in this community....
even more so when you contribute in the ways that you and so many others have and continue to.
You might be right about the number one on the list thing. That type of stuff is all relative anyway and constantly changes, so I say, who cares. It appears to be more of a publicity stunt anyway. As for the missed pass(es), we both had many in that game. Even though that was the case, I thought you missed that one on purpose. Remember, ifa-woulda-Shoulda-coulda means absolutely nothing in these neck of the woods, so let it go homez:D Perhaps its par the course. Everything happens for a reason. Jimmy baby, I'm coming for you. Make sure you bring that lil tiny tweak board of yours. I will score on every play from scrimmage and Imo b running up the guttman.lffng$ Remember... Unilimited weight:fghttt: Baxter |
Nice Post...
This is a really cool post! In my opinion table top EF is sooooooooo easy! In the DFW we have had guys with perfect passer ratings in games! Its just that easy when you can get eye level with the field, have all day to throw, stick your finger on the board to get the angle right and then launch.
I've seen some of the best passers all over the country. I've traveled coast to coast and none compare to Don Hudson in the DFW. I'm not sure how many of you guys have passed the football with obstacles but a stadium is the ultimate obstacle. Don can hit your shoe lace, your helmet, your right arm and call every shot! Once the stadium is removed he's so automatic its unfair! REDICULOUS PASSER!!! I don't think I've seen him miss but only 2 or 3 in passes in years. So as for me the best passers are those who can complete difficult passes with very tough obstacles in very tough games such as championships and playoff elimination rounds. Regular season passes don't even matter because you get to play again next week. The MFCA challenge doesn't move me as a way to gage the best passers. There is no challenger, no defenders in the way, no passing clock or pressure and nothing on the line. Very entertaining but not a good measuring stick in my opinion. Here are my top 4 passers... 4. Marty T - Vegas (This dude passes lights out. No one knows him though but he went undefeated in the CBSMF last years and had the highest rated offense in the league and won his conference) 3. Greg Hardmon - GLEFL (Speaks for itself. Greg is what I call a flicker! He gets in there, flicks and gets out. The faster passer I've ever seen. Waste no time. You have to be good to be able to do that. The real key is that in Big games he hits the pass.) 2. Mike Turner - Vegas (I know many of you are like but he doesn't win much. That was not the question. The question was best passers. Mike doesn't have the best strategy or the best athletes but he can throw with the best in the game. Even better when he takes a sip. :rtfl: Really great passer though and passes well in big games. Still don't know how he does it with that thumb.) 1. Don Hudson - DFW (I would bet my house, car and entire savings account on this dude versus anyone in the USA. haha...no I really wouldn't but that's just how sure I am of this dude's ability to pass. It is mind blowing and it will frustrate you as an opponent when you play good defense and he passes through crowds to make a completion. SICK! Just SICK!!) Honorable mention...I haven't seen Raiderman but sounds like he may be really good!Adrian Baxter just wins championships so how can you not consider this guy. So what it takes him too long to pass. He plays by the rules of the league!Celo is great as well but he needs to stop the shaking during championship games. If he did that he would be in the top 5 and have National championship hardware to show for it. Ihear that Norbert is a really good passer also but I've never seen him stretch the field passing. I've always seen really short throws out of him. Simmie Lassiter from 2 years ago Simmie! I don;t know what happened to him as of late but 2 years ago they use to call him "Simmie Automatic" now when he plays its an "automatic win" for your team. haha. I hope he gets back to the old Simmie quick!Brian Healy - This is my boy and he can pass the rock! I call him "ICE ICE BABY!" He cold with the pass but I can kick his butt on the field. haha! |
You missed a shootout
In the open run....it was Turner vs Celo in a barn burner. I don't think either guy tried a run in the 2nd half. The game was very heated, as you know it gets hot in LA!shkthbx: :fghttt:
But those guys put on a show throwing the ball. Question Mike, what ball is Hud throwing with? I hope you not giving him all these props and he throwing with a beach ball! I like the MFCA passing challenge. If you want to get creative, then that's up to you. Me, Andrew and Healey in our down time play H.O.R.S.E but with our TTQB. We set up all kinds of defenders around the intended guy, if you hit, then the next guy has to hit or they get the letter. I've seen Andrew hit the upright of the goal post, and crazy stuff like that. And he has a perfect passing score to his credit in the skills events. I've been to Texas 3 times playing with you guys, and watching. Hud can't throw with Andrew. RM is good. Like I said, he won't throw the difficult stuff if he doesn't have to, and he rarely misses. And if he does, he's one of the first to say he did!!! Joe G was having a bad passing day in our playoff game, but when it came down to a clutch long pass he hit, and turned the man up field. But like I said, he is streaky....remember that guard from the Piston Bad Boy days...Vinny the microwave.....thats Joe Gthmbsp$ Hey Mike, remember we pulled out our TTQBs in the LA airport??? Doug Shananigans was there. We had our own passing challenge, you know who won.....NATIONAL!!!! And I don't make your list? That's it, next season you are playing in the NEFL, I'm putting you in my division! I'm going to pass all over you! So now start making your team. Don't paint, just get the bases and figs, I will let you know of the team after this season. It's time you stepped out of your DFW comfort zone and played with the big boys! shkthbx: wnnrcgr shkthbx: ppcrn ppcrn Nat'l |
Passers
Andrew does have the perfect score, but who beat him in the overtime of that skills competition to take home the hardware????:D :D :D
Actually, I was just streaky - was on fire that day with the 300 and then we kept setting it up farther and farther - I think it was another 4 or 5 throws in OT before it was resolved. Andrew is a much better passer than I am - he will call out the numbers or arm and hit him in that spot...I still struggle sometimes with consistent technique or getting the ball over the line (any suggestions...I use an old white QB on those speedy QB bases) on occasion. Until then I will be just a streaky guy who hopes to have a hot night. |
ahhhhhhhhhh you are correct Tom
It amazes me how you can be good with the TTQB and a master with the chop sticks!!!!!!! You are truly the double threat....
I know Mike Robertson can throw with the traditional TTQB, and Geno's newer version (i forget the lettering name for them) Mike also had a QB on a rocking chair...some crazy, scary creation he made. Those Texas dudes will do anything to get an advantage! :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl: Andrew is also a good golfer, so maybe that helps. I have a pretty good billiards game, and an excellent jump shot in basketball. Usually good with things that require aiming. Paul Daniels was a certified sharpshooter, while he was on the police force. He would incorporate those skills of holding your breath and things like that into the passing game. How many of these great passers will be at Miggle or the MFCA???? How about a big pot winner take all game of passing H.O.R.S.E or 3 strikes???? Nat'l |
Stewart
Andrew Stewart is a good passer because of all the voices in his head telling him how to line it up!! LOL!

Tooo Long to Pass
Yo CorY:D
I only take as long as the rule-set says I have. What's the problem with that. Most rule-sets say 20 seconds. TSome do not have a time limit. The NEFL says 6 seconds and you know what happen in that league this past season. So, it's all about adaptation homie. Take what is given to you and use it to the best of your abilities. It's all good though ....mgngcrz -Adrian- |
national...
What?!!! I'm in? Wolf! Save this post! Lock it in! Took you long enough! Its on!!! All I have been waiting for right here! This is great news!
As for hudson and the ball he uses...he uses the smallest football ever created. The little tan foam football. The most difficult ball to use. I'm not hyping this guy up at all but he is the truth. Back to playing in the NEFL. Don't back out! Let me play the niners 1st. Haha. Good deal! I'm in! That's what I wanted! |
If you give me time to line up a pass like Tiger lining up a putt, as I was once described way back when, I'mma take that time. Give me 10 seconds, I'll take 9.9.
Give me 3 seconds, I'mma take 9.9. :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl: Ed wnnrcgr shkthbx: $br# |
Norb, I think we can do it at the mfca???
50/50 pot, half goes to the mfca, the other half to your pocket. Would be fun.
Adrian, yes I know what you did, in your first season you went all the way to the super bowl.....but this year you are in the West, and Tom Johnson has owned the west for 3yrs. Then the old guard dog named Harold King is coaching up those Chiefs. You won't have that cake walk like you had last year. Yes you adapted very well from taking so long to pass that my eyes started tearing waiting for you to throw it to only having 6secs on the tilt. ppls$ thmbsp$ You got cats gunning for you this time around....Kern and Jerry was scared of you. @Robertson, no need to save this thread, we going to make it happen. Not this 2011 season tho, we already have a solid 32 but next year I can plan on bringing you in. The country will get a chance to see you play in a ruleset other than shootout.....should be interesting!!!! Start saving your pennies and the other kicker is.......we don't do the playoffs in one weekend, so if you make it that far(which you won't) and some how get into the SB...I'm flying you in myself to finish up!lffng$ lffng$ lffng$ lffng$ thmbsp$ drl$$ Now get some practice!
