Should the Greatlakes coaches be allowed to play at Miggle ?
 

I mean should we (serious), the GreatLakes Coaches, be allowed to play at Miggle,................in the last 6 years, 1 of us have played in the Championship game 5 out of the last 6 years, winning 3 times in those 6 years, 1 year, 2 of us played in the Championship game, I feel it's not fair to the other coaches that attend this highly competitive major, I want all to enjoy this beautiful tournament, and to know that you have a chance,................it's a known fact, when you see Greatlakes Coaches attending, I know you feel kinda (well you know), oh god, there here, so I just want all to have a chance, thats all,.........so my question is, should we be allowed to play, or should we take it upon ourshelves to bowel out and let others have that I have a chance feeling to win. ?

P.S. I'm not playing this year, if I do, it will be with all white dials, no prolines.

wow... since I do not attend these events or compete I dunno if my opinion counts, but here is my 2 cents...

this seems like a "if you don't like it, than stop it" situation.

In the words of the Immortal Ric Flair "TO BE THE MAN... YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!"

compete and be the best you can. when someone beats the reigning champs from a good league they will feel even more proud for it
(the Giants Smacking the invincible unbeaten Patriots was made better because of that fact.)

...And is it just me or was that some HUGE Bulletin board material for everyone else?! I think the Great Lakes just laid down the Gauntlet (I hope you guys can cash that cheque)

I am fully of the belief that this is hype.

If not, remember your Miggle Championship? I was right there. You were a sensation, a rockstar. I forgot who you beat but watching you beat then three time champ Ron Bell signaled a changing of the guard.

Yourself, Jim and Greg have championships but to deny someone the opportunity to beat you fair and square, at least to me, is cowardly.

All you guys that show up need to play.

It's not just people outside the Great Lakes that want to kick your _sses!

this hobby is turning out to be some softy ice cream thing, i don"t need no hand out. the miggle is always on the east coast what can you expect.( lol )to me the east coast is miggle"s comfort zone that"s why you all can make it every year, thats all! play until i come take it from you! i respect what you have accomplished but be very careful eyes are watching you cop out cause more and more good teams are showing up across the country to play the best. Stay in my friend til the end!

Marty, again, you piggyback off a post thats not in Vegas, do you guys have a airport, or do you have a car that can cross statelines ?, get out man, live, play in other states dam, all U do is talk and not show up at other venues.

P.S. I catch planes and drive 12 to 15 hours to play with others atleast 3 times a year.

Norbert!!! Lol...You must play my friend! Miggle is much different than any other tournament.

If you were winning all the championships in your league then I would suggest sitting out a year or two otherwise you will hurt recruiting and interest in your league.

I feel this is what happened with Burgess league. I believe that he has a great style of play but the interest is not there because its been a challenge for others to win.

The Bama Blast struggles because bnutt has all the hardware! lol.

I see your vision and I understand your point. The strongest leagues in the country survive because everyone has a great shot at winning it. The NEFL, the LAEFL, the GLEFL.

However, in the case of miggle. Enrollment and interest has not suffered ever! In fact it seems to grow and grow and grow. So you winning has not caused anyone to not want to play.

Personally, I hope you play and that you win...I'm tired of you listing all those trophies that you won back when I was like 6 years old. :rtfl: Oh and those 2nd place trophies and runner up banners, throw those out the window please. Dont list those anymore. No one remembers 2nd place. haha

28 years and 4 kids later I still drop everything for my "Cutie".

In fact, when my 14 year old got hurt playing football this year, I dropped out of the Great Lakes League marking the first time in 21 years I didn't play locally. The CBSMF doesn't count as that was a "Fun League".

Jim is the same way with "Rene".

and so on and so on.

We got that part right brother. As far as being serious and so on who isn't.

We watch scores and from what I see you'll get "RAN UP IN" (RUI). So many great coaches are coming to Miggle this year no one should give a rats behind where it is. The person that comes out on top this year can truly be called "National Champ".

Miggle has real referees, not the Danny Davis guys who make "hater" calls for who they want to win. So come on down with all your stuff Vince, er, I mean Marty and let's see what you have to offer.

About travel. Build it and they will come. I know what's up so build it.
