If this works I'll respond to who customed what. I've done this three times so hopefully it works. Thanks for the help guys.

Franny-j-boy 07-14-2007 05:34 AM

It worked!!!! Finally

Now once again I can finally tell you who did what. Foru2hate custom made my #34,#37.#33,#51,#52. Bruce Watts custom made my #45,#32 and my board. Reggie R. made my dress kit and I used three of his figures in #27,#75,#74 of the many I still have. I also used a lot of his figure's hands on most of my Buzzball figures. I got my drop back passer from M.Klingbiel, and Miggle proline player is #54. I used Buzzball figures for most of my men including my own custom players. I custom made #7 handing off, #86,#82,#65,#78. I have to also say a big thank you to Beenutt for his uniform decals and shoe decals. I got the towels,Tatts, and gloves from Decal master. The facemask were from D.Jennings. Also, a huge thank you goes out to Jeff Priest for all the help, and for giving me a lot of things. Bruce Watts showed me how to do the neck Rolls and actually gave me the courage to cut my figures and custom make my own. When I picked up my board from him I learned a lot from him and J.Priest.
Thanks to all of you for all the help. This is just the start. God willing....

Franny-j-boy 07-14-2007 05:50 AM

P.s

I also custom made #00,#55. I also forgot to thank Smitty and Renee for teaching me a lot from their video. I used almost all your ideas in making a pass catching net,to "the pit" and many others things you said were important to have for electric football. I got a lot of great knowledge from you guys. Sorry to ramble on.I just hate to forget anyone which I'm sure I did.

'79 Oliers...

Frank,

Great job on those Oilers of yours. It looks like no matter who made the figures, they all seem to blend together quite nicely. This makes their overall appearance look really good. You also took some really good photos. Thanks for sharing.

Frank,
You know how I am LOVING those Oilers!!! Wish I could paint my team up as the Oilers, but I am going to be the 49ers in the GLEFL, so I have to go that route.

Can't want to hook up and get a game in...

outstanding work!!!!!!!!!!!

Oilers are getting a lot of love these days and MAN THEY ARE OUTSTANDING!!

Great pictures, too. The skills and the artisic work from all the guys who are in the hobby gets better and better every post. Excellent choice in figures for your positions and great color.

Love the skyline backdrop also.... you know that would be one of the recruiting shots to promote your league down there.

Hope that you can hit the traveling tournament curcuit sometime so I can drooool over them in public!

Thanks for posting and breaking down your team.

Great Job.

K-LO

p.s - maybe change your aviatar to these guys so we can feel them on each post.

excellent work!! i like the old style gumball helmets on the carrying case as well.:D
keep it up!!

Franny-j-boy 07-17-2007 11:45 PM

Gumball helmets

When I was a kid my friends and I would go to Kroger and push customers cart to their car and unload it. Most of the time they would give somewhere between fifty cents to a quarter. We'd take our money and put it right back into the gumball machine. I had, and still have, about sixty of them trying to get all the teams. Man was I happy when I got my last team after about two months of trying. That last team I needed ,and got, was the New England Patriots.

By the way, what city is that skyline? Someone said Houston, but I don't think so.

Those uniforms are spectacular! Great work by all involved. If they ever give out awards for posts, this one gets my vote!
