yards did Campbell have and how many plays are you running. Are you gonna record anything and put it out there?

Good luck to your season. It's been past time so it's good to see you've got the inspiration to make it happen.

My daughter is home from college so I have my pictures back and can load em up on the MFCA

Reggie - Cambell had 140 yards but he was all that Houston had.
Roos - I am playing all the NFL teams except the Houston Texans.
But have only painted all the AFC plus the Bears and TB. I decided to just pick the best teams from each Franchise. Example the 1985 Bears.
Hoops I shake the box on each play myself.

Next Game
1999 Jacksonville v. 2006 Indy

This game saw Manning just kill the Jacksonville "D". He passed for 230 yards 2 TD's and was 13-16. Catching passing for Indy were Reggie Wayne 3-70,Dominic Rhodes 6-117 one TD. Rushing for Indy Addi had 9 carries for 26 yards and Manning had 2 runs for 51 yards and a TD. On the Defensive side for the Colts Nick Harper had a interception and 2 tackles. Betha had 6 tackles for the Colts to led the team.Harrison ran a KO back 85 yards for a TD .
The Game was really not as close as it looks because of 3 fumbles that Indy had but only lost one.
Jacksonville was led by Stewart rushing 11 times for 42 yards and a TD , he also had 4 catches for 57 yards. Brunnell completed 8 of 16 passes for 167 yards but threw a interception. Jimmy Smith had 2 long receptions of 35 foe a TD and 65 yards. Defensively Jacksonville was led by Carnell Lake who had 8 tackles and Bryce Paup who had 2 sacks and 4 tackles.

Jack......0.......7.......0......7-14

4th and 5th pics are Manning scoring on a 8 yard TD run.

3rd Pic FG Cinn Good
4th Pic Bradshaw 12 pass to Franco Harris TD Run
5th Pic Boomer 6 yard TD Pass to Icky Woods

To many to comment about tonight .

All you really need to know is that Pitt scored late in the game to make the score 27-27 and in the last Pic you can see where Franco Harris was stopped short of the Goal Line and Cinn won 28 to 27.

Great Game

Doug, I love it!!!

Wow, love the pics and love the enthusiasm! It's always great to see games that are that close and a play has to be made at the end! If that is any indication of the AFC Central/North, it should be a great league!

How can you not get excited after playing a game like that. With you being a teacher, you've got about a week to get in 2 games per day (and night)

Congrats on a great start!

Classic Matchup!

Wow Doug, we played the same Wk 1 game! I am not sure why but just playing that game always gets a season off to a great start. Anything to keep the interest high and games like those are so important.

Do you have a schedule for your season? And how long do you think it will take you to finish?

Reg

The Rookie 12-28-2010 03:15 AM

Hey Reg
I am loving this stuff.
How do you not play KC and Oakland right off the bat!!

KC's defensive which should be one of the best in this league sucks!!
I dont understand what happened but I do see that they can't cover none of Oaklands Recievers.
And Oaklands Phil Villapiano has 4 sacks and 6 tackles in the firdt half!! On the schdule I am doing it as I go .How long will it take ? I have no Idea but I am already thinking about This problem that I have
Example I want to use the Cowboys from 77 and in the 90's

Oakland from the Stabler era and Lomonica plus the steelers for Bradshaw or Todays!!! Wow to many to paint!!

Reg check out my League line up site.

Reginald Rutledge 12-28-2010 03:40 AM

You know sometimes...

you may have to consider combine rosters! That way, you get to see all your favorites! When you've lived as long as we have, it makes it so difficult to do one season teams, especially like with the Cowboys and all of their great players or the Steelers or Raiders.

You might have to breakdown and do something like that. The only problem in doing that though is "Who do you determine to get the most carries if they are both playing on the same team, i.e., Emmitt Smith or Tony Dorsett or Calvin Hill or Hershel Walker?"

Doing that will lead to full-blown RB controversies which makes the teams suffer because you can decide on a go to guy.

I look at this Rams team I got and I've got the best of both worlds for this team. The Fearsome Foursome on defense and Eric the Great offense on offense. This team is dynamic and I wonder if they would have been this good if I would have went with straight 1958 Rams or 1984 Rams?

It's yo' League!

Reg

The Rookie 12-28-2010 01:03 PM

Your right Reggie and the way I am looking at it at this point is the 2nd season of SSL.

I will add a few new teams
Say
Dallas in the 1990's
Pitt. Lead by Roth
GB lead by Farve
Oakland and Marcus Allen
Baltimore Colts lead by Unites

and so on

Oak 10.....10.....7.....7.....-34
KC...3........7.....0....14-....24

The game never seemed close as KC could not stop Oakland all day.KC was supposed to have a great "D" so I will have to go back over that Team and do some more training to improve their team.

Oakland on the other hand played great !!! It really looked like a Al Davis Team scoring on Pass plays such as: 80 and 70 yarder to Fred Blitnikoff and Branch recieving a 80 TD and 29 yard TD.Stabler threw for 309 yards and three td's. Al saying of the QB must go down was also inforce as the Oakland "D" had 8 sacks.

KC's bright spots were Garrett rushed for 79 yards on three carries and had 4 catches for 60 yards. Taylor had 4 catches for 103 yards and a TD.

1st Pic -Davis on a 20 Yard Punt return
2nd- Stabler row out ( Hair on his head from my sons head)
3rd- Stabler hits Branch for 29 yard TD
4th Dawson Hits Taylor on 4th down to continue drive
5th - Garritt 32 yard pass reception
6th/7th pic-set up play before 2 yard gain
8th Pic- Dawson rows out and hits Taylor One yard TD
9th Pic-Look and the ball
10th annd 11th Pic-Stabler hits Fred B. for a 70 yard TD
12thPic - Dawson hits Taylor 80 yard reception to the One
13th Pic Dawson rows out
14th Pic Dawson hits 45 TD pass ( Pent.) on the Off.
15th Pic- Dawson Hits McVea 10 yarder to the 1 43 on the tackle
16th Pic -Dawson Hits 45 for a TD

I Know I put the wrong number on Dawson will change later

Thanks for looking
