Fall league in Central Ohio
 

I am going to start a league in central ohio this fall. It will be a pro league with custom figures allowed { 3.4 including base } . I will post more rules as they are worked out. If you are interested just pm me and I will give you my number. Play will most likely start around the middle of September.
I would like to get together at a local pizza place for the games , but that can be flexible. We will get together 1-2 times a month for games.
More info will follow.
We might just play in a friend of mines pizza shop , named Masseys . If we do we will have to be civil with no loud outbursts or language.

We will be playing in a suburb of Columbus called Reynoldsburg zip is 43068 It is right off of I-70 east and I-270 split on the east side of columbus.
I have not decided on the number of games, I was waiting to see how many everyone wanted to play. If I had to put a number on it maybe 10 games. I would like to get together 1-2 times a month and play at least 2 games each time we meet. We will try to work around anyone's schedule that has to travel.
I am thinking a pro league but if someone is stuck on another team { college, high school or fantasy } I would rather have them play with their favorite team than not at all.

We might play at another location, it is in a better location and more secluded, that is Massey's Pizza zip is 43147

Jeff, I can't wait to get in this league. I'm coming from Newport,ky right next to downtown Cincinnati so if anyone from down here needs a ride let me know. Try to get in it if you can. Jeff is a great man and I'm telling you it will be worth the drive for anyone who travels. It takes me about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get there. If it were doubled I'd still be there with those guys.

Looking like scrimmages will be at the Massey's Pizza in Pickerington. We might have 2 other new players playing also. They have been playing the entire NFL schedule between the 2 of them.:eek:
September the 9th looks to be the first scrimmage date.

How does the 16th or the 23rd look for some scrimmages ?

i can do either, just not the 30th.

If we end up having over 10-12 coaches we will allow all coaches to pick there first choice team before anyone gets a second team .

I should also say that any team is open, pro , college , mini gridders or made up. Just show up with a team and play.

Looks like this Sunday we will get together for some scrimmages. The place will either be Donatos Pizza or Massey's pizza. We will meet at 2 and stay til around 6.
If you can make it please post up so I will know how large of a room to reserve.

I sent you a private message. To the rest of you guys I won't be able to make it to Ohio this weekend and i apologize for that. I can almost guarantee that me and my Oilers will be good to go the following week if we can play then as well. Enjoy the fun and I look forward to hooking up with you guys and playing in this league. I'm glad we have al least ten teams to play. It makes it even better. I can't wait.If anyone else is thinking of playing in this league I hope you get in. I know Jeff Priest and Bruce Watts are great guys from meeting them earlier this year and I look forward to meeting the rest of you. Lets play some ball!!!!

No problem Frank. Just let me know when you can get up here to scrimmage. We scrimmaged tonight and tested out the rules in a game situation, I think if anyone plays in our league this fall they will have a great time.

I have 6 coaches committed waiting to play, were putting off what we planned to join with u, if your not sure let me know Jeff so we can go along with plan A. call me we need plan this out with me ,Blake, & KV playing in Detroit scheduleing is critical,with out of towners. U the man set it up homey u got the coaches.peace;)

Jeff, I talked to M.Pratt and he said he will have my stuff in the mail and to my house by early next week. I'll be there for sure to go over rules and anything else.

Bruce, I look forward to you being there as well next week if you can. This could be a great season with you guys. I know I'm a rookie and all, but I learn quick and I love to compete. Thanks guys.

We are on for some scrimmages tomorrow at Massey's pizza in Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Just do a map quest , it is really easy to find.

I don't have my team here yet,but if you guys are playing I could still come up and watch and learn the rules of your league. Let me know if should come or not. I will be there for sure next week. By the way,I hope by men play as good as they look. I will be ready. It looks like most of our guys will not be able to make it next week. Today would be better than next week for learning the rules , but if some guys could not make it this week and only next week I could get something together for the new guys.
