Dr. Pepper. Yes you have to take a bathroom break at halftime but it is worth it.

You numbskulls voted for beer as your favorite sideline drink. LOL.

Couch potatos one and all!

I can imagine what those bellies must look like.

Keep the high fructose Gatorade. Water works fine for me.

I resemble that remark!
Being German it is my absolute right to consume beer at any given moment.
A beer or two during a game steadies my throwing hand.

Coach K-LO 11-21-2007 10:00 AM

it depends on the time

if it is early in the day....hot coffee

if it is during the later part of the action, mix it up.......

if it is the late show... frosty cold one or 3 will do......

Early rounds, water.

late rounds, red bull.

When finished, hennessey and coke.

well, 30 or 40 years ago, it would be Gatoraid, hands down, because of the cool football helmet lids you got, now days, UN sweet Tea, ice cold, or Coffee

wolverine 11-21-2007 10:46 AM

tea

oh nooooooo not the dreaded sweet tea....lol

O-schemer 11-22-2007 07:39 PM

In the south, we drink sweet tea. :)

tea

Steve I say the dreaded sweet tea because about 20 years ago my family was coming back from florida and we stooped in a denny's in Georgia...and my wife ordered tea and she always drank it with out sugar...only lemon...and the look on her face when she took the first swig was priceless

Time for a Beer Song

Anyone ever heard the Beer Run Song by Todd Snider? Here is my rendition...

Chorus...
B double e double r u-n Beer Run...B double e double r u-n Beer Run...all we need is a $10 and a 5 and a car and key and sober driver...B double e double r u-n Beer Run!

Verse one...
I was talking to Wolf, on a Saturday night, he was real down, he was feeling uptight...I said hey Wolfy lets go have a beer...

Hey looked at me with that crazy eye and he said I haven't one all night, so we just in his car got out out there...

and it was Beer Time!...Chorus

B double e double r u-n Beer Run...B double e double r u-n Beer Run...all we need is a $10 and a 5 and a car and key and sober driver...B double e double r u-n Beer Run!

Verse two...
Wolf and I were having a good time, just about happy hour, then you'll never guessed who came in here....It was Sasquatch himself with a well dressed choir and some clown friends of his we all smiled and thought Big Al buying the next Beer!....and we just partied all night!....chorus

B double e double r u-n Beer Run...B double e double r u-n Beer Run...all we need is a $10 and a 5 and a car and key and sober driver...B double e double r u-n Beer Run!

Beer, football and men...kinda spiritual in a way...

Matt C.
