How many of you still play on the 620 in league play
I just curious of how many league games are played on the 620??

Medium size board
I have nothing against a 620 board. But a medium size board or a monster board is really fun. it is a different game.

All my home games for every league I've been in have been played on an old 610 with the orange end zones.

Super Bowl and 620
The NYEFL I am now in uses mainly the current SuperBowl board - I believe that some do play on the 620.

Beltsville uses
The Bruce Watts boards and no we hane the INFAMOUS 308 BEING USED...but for the most part most use the Watts boards or a 620

re
In the MOMFL we use all custom boards. We either have Watts boards or 513 studios boards. The 513 studio board is even bigger than a watts board  . I was playing a guy this weekend on my 513 board and he was scared to death that he would not be able to stop my sweep since my board was so wide. There is nothing like a custom scale size board ! It makes all the coaches actually have a game plan other than a big scrum.

620
620 s is all we use,,we used to use my custom boards i made..but go too muh to lug around

The Only Way To Go
Custom boards are the only way to go. I never liked to the 620s. I would use a 600 board before using 620 anytime.

adrian and 620 boards
Adrian,
We are comtemplating going to the 620 boards exclusively next year in the Dixie League to make everything fair. Let me know your thoughts. Just kidding. beenutt |
Jeff, who makes the 513 studio board?? Is it a scale board, or just a little bigger than a 620 board?
|
Bryan ,
I second the motion on using a 620 only on Adrians games... hehheheeee :D |

620
Jimmie,
In most leagues, 620's are used because they're larger, cheaper and easier to transport. But if your really want to get into playing this simulated football board game, scale size boards are the only way to go! I'm just about finished building my custom board 72" X 48". The playing field will not be that large, but I'll have the trimmings around the the side i.e. bench, cheerleaders, cameras, ect. I got the idea when I when at the SWB last year and I saw a pool table in the hotel. Two people were playing pool and as I was staring at them playing, I saw a football field inside a pool table! I can't get this image out of my mind until I'm finished. Once I get the field cover and trimmings, I'll share some pictures. I only play on a 620 now because other people want to play Electric Football. Smitty |

620's are very nice to play on
But in our league, 90 percent play on 308's, Watts and diamond boards.
