Congratulations goes out to Mike Carr and his Cleveland BROWNS, who, sources say, held the PANTHERS scoreless in the 1st Quarter. Unfortunately, the dam swelled and eventually burst as Burgess and Co. stormed out to a 30point lead. Anthony, I am not quite sure what to say after what I witnessed. Once again, and for the 2nd time in a row, I thought your championship game would be close and the winner would be the last team to score in the 4th qtr. Again to my surprise, you were able to completely control the game on both sides of the ball for the majority of the game. Kudos to you, my man. In the play-offs and championship games, for the past two years, you appear to be invincible. Anthony, you left no doubt in my mind that you and your 3 - time Champions Carolina Panthers are most deserving of the title this year. Enjoy, my man... MPFL Championship...
First I would like to congratulate Anthony Burgess for bringing home the title; he coached an excellent game. Next I'd like to congratulate my buddy Mike Carr for not only making it to the Big Dance, but for having the will power to fight until the very end. I learned a lot about the both of you this weekend.
Watching the MPFL system played at the highest level was very impressive. I can certainly understand why you guys like the system so much. It was good to finally meet the Decal master in person. Nice job on those teams Bill. It was also good seeing Adrian and Kevin again. I thought the three of you did a great job managing the Big Game, so that the coaches could focus on managing their teams. I want thank all of you for the warm welcome and great fellowship. I had a great time at the Big Game, and at the sportsbar in Crystal City for the "After Superbowl" dinner and drinks.$br# $br# ;) Burgess recommended the ribs, so most of us ordered ribs. Man that place laid out a slab of ribs that was longer than the keyboard that I'm typing this post on, and yes they were good.thmbsp$ I also want to thank Anthony for his hospitality, and for putting me up this weekend. I want to first thank my Lord JESUS CHRIST For giving me the ability , and thank him for placing positive people in my life such as you all who took the time to post.
Let me say that it was an honor to play my brother Mike (MC). See we grew up together and he was the one who got me into this hobby in the first place. MC was my lead blocker when we played football back in the day, so you get the idea how close we are. But I want to tell you that right now MC is working on his team, so if you're in the AFC you need to know that he is the man to beat.hlmt$ I will be working on my team as well, going over the things I didn't do well, and try to improve on my team because I know I have a target on my back, and many MPFL coaches are gunning for me ftbll$ Thank you all and my God Bless you all :) |
