The 2006 Packer Squad - Pics
 

Here are some pics from the 2006 Packer team I did. I'll likely be rolling them out at the Buzzball World Championship. It will break a string of "all-time college" squads I've been using at national tourneys. Coach Ruesink was quoted as, "I've been a bridesmaid 4 times...maybe it's time to put the pro squad up against Baxter's Cowboys! I figured I needed to get back to my roots...I'm a Packer fan first and foremost."

I tried to make each player as authentic as I could from Hawk's Underarmour Shoes to Al Harris hair.

The decals are a combination of my own and Beals...the collar is his along with some of the basics. I used my stripes, names (think I matched the font pretty close), etc. Paints are also Beals...Guttmann did the "prepping" (painting the base coats) and then I did the decaling.

Also, I added, my newest creation, under the shoe decals. You can see them good on the Jennings pic I'm going to post.

Love those Packers. The Neck collor on them are what really makes them special.

Also, undershoe wear looks great, too.

But talk to me about those gloves!!! better than any I have seen lately (details on them #1):eek:

Those are cheddar then any Packer team I have ever seen. Swiss they were mine. You did a gouda job. It's about time you switched to Pro- valone over a Cottage team. Hopefully you cream the competition. Remember, Rom-ano wasn't built in a day but brie thankful that you now have a squad that represents!! Vince Limburger would be proud to field this team---OK that ones a stretch but I couldn't find any cheeses that started with Lo

It's a top secret what bases I use for my team...NOT.

Actually, I just like the way the polo green double clips look on the figure for photographing. If I ever do a figure for a player, etc I'll always put them on the polo green double clip. Just aesthetic.

Yeah, but that color green on the base is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to dark!! Come on man, you have to do better matching that color! LOL!!

For those who don't know what I'm talking about Tom is a master at getting the EXACT color of teams. No joke, he thinks there is a difference between Nebraska red and Wisconsin red!! The dude is a lunatic. I'd hate to see him paint a room in the house! LOL!
