Anybody know what happened with the figures that were supposed to come out from Electric Gridiron? Thanks and happy new year!

No...I have been wondering that myself after seeing the up close last year at the Miggle convention:confused:

There was a post not long ago from the Mid Ohio league that showed some of the pre-run sprues of players. I'll try and find it and post a link but I think that they are not far from hitting the market. It sounds like there are many new products coming out next year from a number of different sources...

I couldn't find the post. The one ithought it was in doesn't show the photos I was looking for. maybe someonefrom the Mid-Ohio League can direct us there. hlmt$

Guys,

I am not ready to release the first sprue as of yet! However, now is the time to provide any feedback in terms of what type of figures and or poses you would liked to see produced. I have hired top sculptors that have worked on some of the most sought after McFarlane figures to hit the market. Now I'm working with the sculptors to ensure that figures are functional for EF and not just for show!

How about Mirror Figures? Meaning, RB's and WR's that have their Right arms forwards, are also available with their Left arms forward in somewhat of the similar pose?

Here are some figures that I produced of the OSU Buckeyes a few years back. This is the same level of detail that I would like to bring to the EF community. The only difference is that each coach will be able to customize each figure by interchanging arms, torsos and heads.

About how big are they?

They are the same size as a regular electric football figure and make weight !

Whatever you guys do please know that Dewayne is going to make this happen,but it is a process and he wants to make sure he does them right. He wants to make sure that even the plastic that they use is not too light and he is making them funtion perfectly for this awesome game.He has a lot of money already tied up so that goes to show us that (instead of just thowing out a decent product funtionally),he is taking that extra step and making it great. Man,if you ever met the guy like I'm sure many of you have you'll understand that he is a very smart man and cares about this hobby. Not to mention he's a class act. Take your time. Make them great! I have been one of your biggest supporters for these figures on this site. I have seen alot of nice eye candy figures on this site but I am not sure how they play. I know yours will not only look good but play good. I would like to see a scrambling QB figure. Have him running but have his arm cocked ready to fire a pass down the field. A blocking fullback. A bruising fullback leaning forward with his head up ready to pound a linebacker. A pass rushing linebacker. Running full speed towards the QB. I will try and find photos.

Here's the kind of figures I would like to see. A juking Rb and scrambling QB.

First and foremost, your initial sprue looks great. Since you're asking for feedback...I would recommend that while you are creating individual poses, you keep in mind all of the other customizable options as well. In other words, try to make various positions for each limb in order to maximize the number of cominations to create a variety of custom poses. Also, In this day and age the lineman are sometimes twice as big as the recievers so scaling up the lineman would be another recommendation.

Check your PM. I can't wait. I have been showing these pictures to friends and they are also excited. We are getting together on the Satyrday between the Championship ganes and the SUper Bowl. I am trying to start a league and they want to see whats new with the hobby.

We are going to need a whole new painting/customizing catagory called, "Is it real or is it miniature?" once these come out. Saving my dough...I might just get back into painting again with these.

The figures on the sprue are absolutely beautiful. You are going to cause all of us to re-do our entire collection. Im going to put my decals away and wait for these babies to hit the market. The running back looks so realistic. check out the creases in the jersey. I have ben buying things from DJ since the first day i met him. Your killing us, please put these out already !!!

I agree Wolf. Painting will be alot easier with the parts on the sprues. Dewayne, I do have a question, What is the hollow helmet?

There is a rumor going around that Mr. Jennings will offer a 6 months same as cash financing plan for orders over $1000. :D

I think we can just trade for some of those power bases you own, since Franky-J just purchased all the strength bases that money can buy! There might not be any more bases on the market. Do you think Frank is going to supply these to Charlie and the Irish to aid them back into the BCS.:D

How about a lefty QB? One sitting in the pocket and the other scrambling. I've had guys create these over the years and I like them but it would be nice to just order them. That RB dude looks unbelievable.

Man,I wish I had the power you are talking about Dewayne.Every playoff game I'm down either 7-0 or 8-0 and have to battle back.(mostly bad coaching,not my players fault) I think I'll drive up there and join that raid Jeff and Chris are talking about.Heck, I'd just like to see your stuff.Talk about a kid in a candy store.
