Big Apple Miniature Football League
 

Guys,

I just wanted to get an update out to all that have expressed an interest in the Big Apple Miniature Football League. Yes, we changed the name to something that better relates to the area. I spoke with Mozeek last night and we are looking for a start date of April. This will give the time we need to get a few sites lined up where we can play. Along with getting a website up and running.

We also spoke about a league fee. Once this is final will will let everyone know. So in the mean time if you are interested in playing reserve your team with Mozeek.

Thanks to everyone for there interest in playing in this new league. Dre, Mozeek and I are charged up.

A special thanks goes out to Reg and our brothers in the DFW for their support.

all info should be explained in the file that i sent you via email.....if you had a bigger board im pretty sure the experience would be better...but not to worry i have a steelers and a giants 308 field that can be used by two leaguemates all you would have to do is purchase a motor from mr rutledge....

Up-to-Date Rules on "The Box"

These are the current rules used for the DFW regarding "The Box". They have not yet been updated in the rulebook but will some time in the future.

Anyhow, Barry Stephenson, made changes to the simulation of penalties reflecting some of the more common penalties seen in the NFL today.

The Kicking/Punting has been improved as well and noted with this PDF file.

There's a 3rd file for called the Cogdell Rule. You guys may or may not want to apply this rule. Yall need to discuss this with 'Dre and see how he feels about this.

'Dre might need a cap placed on him. He wants to buy every team in the BAM! He had asked me to go make him Adrian Peterson in a unique pose and by the time I finished customizing him, I saw he had bought the Dolphins, too? Then the Jets?

My boy got mo' money than Warren Buffett! Is he gonna coach all those teams or will he be hiring a coach to coach each one of those teams!

Dre is like a recovering addict! Trying to make him go cold turkey will be tough. You may have to institute a stiffer penalty for this brother because he may even try to bring back teams from the "defunct" like the Canton Bulldogs to own as well.

I think I will start calling 'Dre "Manataray Trump". I just hope he does not tell me "You're fired" before I put the finishing touches on Adrian Peterson!

Send me the dates on the "BAM" Football League. We are gonna make a trip up sometime this late spring or early summer. We're gonna be there for a few days and want to plan it around when the league meets. As a matter of fact, it may be best if I came during the Super Bowl Weekend so I could help with the promotions and production of the Super Bowl.

When you talk about New York, Vegas, Orlando or Los Angeles/Hollywood, it makes for an easier sell to bring my family and just make a trip out of it.

So once you guys get some dates, let me know.

I will speak to RJ about creating a chat page to discuss Shootout type rules and strategy in the future. It will be great to see leagues in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Dallas, New York, and Michigan (if Norby and the new Miggle Champ push this) all discussing ways to disguise a 46 or running the spread and actually seeing it work.

I know the guys in Los Angeles would love to fellowship with guys in the BAM.
