your favorite "stock" EF figure?
1 Attachment(s)
What is your favorite ef figure? Mine is the buzzball DL. Man I'd use that figure for every position if I had enough of them. George, when are you going to make a mirrored image of that figure?
Beenutt |
i too NEED that pose in the mirror image, it is so versatile.
|
I'm Old School. Take me back to the days of the AFL when a blocker had to keep his hands in. Thus, I vote for the lineman Tudor/Miggle figure. If I could use him at RB I would!
|
My favorite as a player is still a Miggle tackle figure. Very versatile, usually well balanced. Works well on many different kinds of bases.
My favorite stock figure to paint is a Buzzball running back. Roo |

For Some Strange Reason
...as we get older we are unable to ascertain too many figures that look alike...??? Actually, it just comes down to "accidently" putting that so-called FB at, let's say, RG. Then on a pass play, when he's wide-open in the endzone, of course you wanna chuck it at him, right? By restricting that figure we can almost eliminate that situation, however, the occasional "#72 is eligible" shouldn't be a problem.

I have 8 favorites, it's so hard to narrow it down to just 1
With all the new poses in the last 10 years, plus the knowledge of customizing my own poses from existing ones, I am in electric football heaven.
The stock poses are really great these days, and here are my top 8: Footballfigures: "the freak" (sprinter, running back, def. end, safety) "the minister of defense" (defensive lineman, offensive lineman) Buzzball: "the beast" (running back, end, defensive line) "lightning" (end, running back, safety) Miggle Proline (ITZ replicas): dropback quarterback (both hands on the ball) stand-up right def. end, outside linebacker (arms down at his sides) hunched-over, def. tackle guy (launching himself off the line) |
Had to throw my hat into the ring...
"Lester" cornerback from FF "Punisher" DE/TE from FF Mr. Everything BB Big Charging Guy PL(i use him as a nose tackle) Tackle figure Mig/BM FF's left handed QB is sweet too.... |
My two cents...
My favorite figure is the traditional Miggle running back pose. In my solitaire league, the running backs seem to get "all the glory" since the running games and short passing games are the primary focus on offense in solitaire play. But most important...I have had games deceided on the running backs "stiff arm"...yes you heard that right...I have had backs avoid tackles, because of the simple fact that the stiff arm was in the right place at the right time. My AFC Championship in 2004 was a perfect example. The back broke a run into the backfield and a lineman came up to make the stop, but the backs' stiff arm caught him just right in the right arm area and he missed the back completely...result...93 yard touchdown run.
and thats' my two cents... |
My favorites are
3. FFs Minister, 2. Buzzballs Beast, 1. Haiti Repro Tackle, (left and right are equal) and for his size, 1.46 unpainted is crazy, I bulletproofed 1 up to 2.00 and tested it against different figures that also weighed 2.00, I used the same strenghbases on both when testing, the Tackle figure won the battle eveytime, that cat also flys on speedbases, now when it comes to them custom cats, I have no idea how he will do, I play in a league (GLEFL) where theres 3 excellent custom figuremakers, I am about to get into this custom stuff and buy 1 figure of each from all 3 of them, sit here, and have aball testing them all out.

Both of us being Chiefs Fans I find it interesting that Thor was also my favorite comic book character. Thanks to the comic book, I actually found a real interest in Mythology and read about everything I could find on Norse myths. I almost became a Viking fan because of it.
One of the best books I have ever read is called Rhinegold by Stephen Grundy which deals with a Germanic North Mythology. Lots of wolves in it!! |
I haven't tested out all of my figures on my team yet, but so far I really like the Dominator from FF.net.
But the coolest looking figure is definitely the Blitzer. It is an awesome looking figure, and stands out from the rest. Michael |
Wow Michael!
You dug up a good thread. I'd have to say the Fab 5 Tackle figure is my favorite. Even in this day of new or custom figs I still use the F5 Tackle fig at almost every position. Great speed, balance, and power on most types of bases. hlmt$
DC |
to the top
After some more testing I like the Dominator, the LT, the Crippler, the terror, the Minister, and the Mike as the best stock figures. Taylor |
