Now Thats Great Stuff,Where Did U Get The Idea & The Decals?

In the original Fantasy Draft (2006) Wolfs team was called the Midwest Mennonites. I told him that I would paint his team and, after looking at some Amish pics, came up with the 'home' and 'away' uni's. I did 2 proto-types and then put them on the back burner for 2 years. The bible verses are courtesy of my buddy, Chris Markham of CLM productions. Everything else is all hand done, naturally! :p

And by the way, I know there are several regular church goers here on the board that should reconize all the Mennonite players. If not, then you need to go back and study your bibles! :mad: :D

Living in Western PA I see the Amish all the time. They dont pay taxes but they do use modern services. Police, Fire, Hospitals and so forth. I want to be an Amish man so I dont have to pay taxes!

I considered a Trek team for the National High Voltage League. Was thinking of the "good guys" on offense, Kirk as QB, Spock as a HB, etc. and the villains as the defense. Worf, Kang and Khan as LBs, Borg as Defensive linemen, romulans and klingons as DBs.... Klingons love to sack the QB!!
No one would want to cross into the neutral zone. This would be a great team concept.





We could never seem to get enought support at any given time to get our region together in the High Voltage. Shame as I like the target passing and unique teams.

A Star Trek team would be interesting, though I think Kirk should be the head coach and Scotty the offensive coordinator. I can hear them talking on the headphones now...

Kirk: Scotty, our shields are failing. The Klingons are coming through at will, the line is being pushed back. I need more power!

Scotty: I've given 'er all I can, Captain, they won't hold out much longer. The Dilithium-Gatorade crystals are depleted.

Kirk: Then divert all power to just the forward shields.

Scotty: But if I do that, the quarterback could get blindsided by a cornerback blitz.

Kirk: It's a chance we'll have to take, mister, a chance.. we'll.. have.. to.. take!

Scotty: Aye, Captain!
