Reviews- The new Diamond Multi-Directionals

I am probably the last on the block to get these, but in building the Philly team for the AMFL, I used these on the O-linemen.

Three words: Hole lee cow. They were throwing around defenders very impressively, with only a bit of tweaking.

They get a nice first pop at the throw of the switch, and push right through.

Coach Rip, thanks, they're a winner.

Any other thoughts?

They are good, I got some real good speed out of mine.

Speed & weight

I got great speed out of them with all figures(FF.net, BB, Miggle). Also they hold weight well. So if your building a weighted team you should no probems placing the weight underneath.thmbsp$ Good Job

I especially like the dials on these, they are very nice for the front weighted customized figures. Even though the dials don't really turn, I have just started playing around with cutting away the two (outer) front prongs in order to get a slight turn out of them in and it seems to be working. Performance wise I haven't got Proline strength out of these yet, speed seems to comes pretty naturally though. Looking forward to possibly getting some more tips on these at the convention.:)

Good Bases

Have been working with them in camp - getting some nice speed from some and some decent strength from some. Nice addidtion and the BAM packers welcome them! thmbsp$

For strength ....

I have found the quickest way is to clip all the prongs, but have the front prongs Slightly shorter than the back prongs....... so the base has a slight raised appearance like a nice muscle car, not jacked up too much. ;)

Once the prongs are clipped, do what you normally do to get strength.

See them in person....

..... I will the new DDB's at the MFCA convention and I will have about 40 tweaked for strength available as well. There will be semi-round fronts and some square fronts to choose from.

Semi-Rounds?

In the Fathers Day special there were only square - right???

Do you have the semi-rounds for sale on the site?

Let me look.

Gotta tell ya - the Packer staff are falling in love with thesethmbsp$ .

A few will represent in the BAM opener and appeared today in a scrimmage with the Cowboys.

Coach Rip 07-31-2008 07:56 AM

they are the same ....

the only difference is that I have tweaked the "square front" which traditionally is the back of the base, to be the front. Square fronts are great for "O" linemen to hold their blocks....

Gotcha

We like 'em. Thank you:)
