Anyone watching the game? The Browns are wearing brown pants. First time, ever. Anyone know if they are making this change permanent?

Looking good, wonder if they will sport them during the regular season....
Some teams (Texans) actually have a schedule for when they wear certain jersey combinations. I may have to paint these boys........

The Browns look like Bowling Green in these pants, or does Bowling Green look like Cleveland? Confused....:confused: :)

man I wish I had a camera ... I painted that uniform last season and now working on painting them with the Orange Jersey and Brown pants ...

I like 'em too! I can see several guys painting them up in brown paints in the near future.

I'm sorry guys but those are absoluely terrible looking. I don't like the brown pants with the brown socks. It looks as if they are wearing panyhose or something. If you are going to wear brown pants you shoud have all white socks with the brown and orange stripes about 3/4 up just to break the color tone. I still like the cardiac kids uniforms the best. Franny - look at the Saints uniform, and Jacksonville. Both wear black pants AND black socks.

I'm not totally against the Brown pants...but I think there needs to be a stripe in either the pants or the socks...the actual...and then two options...I kinda like the last one...pant stripes to match shirt stripes...

YUCK! What were they thinking? I can see going with colored pants but **** brown. Horrible. I love the brown shirt,o range pants look. They should have worn orange pants!

I disagree. The brown pants are hardcore. Orange pants too old school. These are prefect without any stripes. I Wonder what brown on brown home jerseys would look like? :rolleyes: Now I am re-energized to paint new jerseys for my league teams, and we'll be too busy looking GOOD.....

I dont like the brown pants to blah.I like the strips like steelerfan put on them.Or brown with the orange jersey would look ok.

I was on the 20, third row behind the Browns bench.
When they came out on the field and I saw the uni's , I thought they just looked like nasty. Not a good nasty but a " what are they thinking" nasty.

In close up views through the glasses, the pants actually shine when they are getting set. The butts are shiny. I just don't think that looks right. My girlfriend said they looked " gay " . Not to be offensive to being gay or looking gay but I just did not think that is the look you want to be going for in a football team.
It was sort of offensive to look at after a while.

I think they look much better in white pants. Some teams just make too many changes to what is already a good uniform.

In my opinion, I stay away from my girls perspective but as for a football team, the uniforms don't look like winners to me.

Now on the Giants.

It was just an remarkable first half. The last game I went to was the Redskins /Giants in what felt like below zero conditions. The G-men played like a very bad high school team. It was the turning point of the season. The rest is history.
The one thing I will say is the Eli is a much different player then I have seen before. He looked poised and in control and accurate. If nothing else happened dureing the playoff run is that he became a team leader and the qb we hoped we would have when he was drafted.

I was going to set up my giants and browns in the parking lot, like I did with the Jets and Giants a few years ago. I am glad I didn't because I would have seen the real Browns uniforms on my vibrating board and been more disturbed by the uni's I saw on the field.

I don't dislike the Browns at all, but get those brown , shiney, pants off those linemen. They do look like dark panty hose.

I can see how the all brown pants looks a little blah!!! But the when steelerfan added the stripes; especially with the white in it, they looked pretty good to me.
