best EFL DVDs

As a beginner coach, which DVDs would you suggest to learn tweaking and overall strategy?

FrankB 12-15-2008 09:44 AM

My opinion

The coaches DVD for tweaking. MPFL DVD by Anthony Burgess for game play.

Where can I find the "coach's" DVD?

Shabby J 12-15-2008 08:23 PM

I agree fully! Smitty and Sean's Coaches DVD series, get both volume one and volume two.

These are superb!

If you are looking to get up to speed, these will help you like no other. Strategy, tweaking, etc.. all if it is in here. Be sure to get both volumes.

Try going to http://www.mpflfootball.com/

OK, to avoid confusion, the MPFL DVD and the Coaches DVD series are not the same thing.

A beginner would benefit much more by viewing the Coaches DVD series first, this will get you going with tweaking, base and figure variety, strategy, etc... the basic building blocks and mechanics of the hobby.

Then, move on the to the MPFL video if that style of play interests you. The DVD is first class and well done by a coach who knows A LOT about the sport of football.

They are both good, but there is a distinct difference between the two.

As they say....ppcrn

Is there a place to order the coach DVDs from? I found mention of them in a couple of threads but nothing that says where or how to order.

Shabby J 12-15-2008 09:47 PM

PM a coach named TRON1984.

Vince148 12-15-2008 10:06 PM

thanks. just did.

Tron1984 12-22-2008 03:17 PM

Tron here!

Fellas,
A little known MPFL fact! Tron and Smitty did the first MPFL video, but AB saw things in a different light and decided to use Decal master for the current MPFL video. I still believe the first one is best. We don't sell it because we don't want to interfer with Burguess MPFL DVD. I know it would be a smash!!! Coaches DVD#3 is still coming! It's like the Star Wars saga! hopefully it will be worth the wait!!! Tron out!
