SIMPLE ANSWER

The 3yd rule simply implies that (a) the player or players in question has or have committed to his or their path and (b) at that close a distance adjustments and/or reactions in real life are unlikely and thus not allowed. The more you play full possessions and/or games the more it just flows and becomes a living, breathing game of smashmouth football. Good question. thmbsp$

DUE TO THE SCOPE OF THE GAME

Ok, due to the scope of the game...:nhnh: :rtfl: mgngcrz

You are correct, it happens ALL the time in real life, but here. It would honestly just be down there on most plays where opposing players are within 3yds of each other. Maybe 90% of the time it would be a waste of time to adjust. It is what it is. There is still plenty of reaction time on the other stoppages though. thmbsp$
