SPECIFIC PLAY CALLING AND ANSWER THREAD

Coaches

I wanted to start a specific thread on paticular play calling in the MPFL system for EVERYONE IN THE HOBBY. This will give coaches around the country who have not seen the dvd yet an insight on what can be run in this system. That in turn may intrigue others to want to know more and more as they read what they can do with there team.

THIS ENTIRE THREAD IS A STRICTLY HOW CAN I RUN THIS PLAYINg THE MPFL. Ant burgess and jimbo are great at disecting play using multi stops. With that said, it would be of great help to many with the answers that are provided.

so all coaches, if you want to know if what you are thinking of is allowable/do-able in your offensive arsenol. ASK HERE.
Please keep in mind, what you ask will be answered, print out this thread periodacally and this can be viewed as a semi rule book in the mpfl.

If you want these guy's to show you, YOU FIRST HAVE TO ASK !!!!!!

I will throw a quick quesh out there to get the juices flowing.

ANT/JIMBO.

1) WHAT IS THE CRITERIA ON RUNNING A ( rb to wr) or (wr to wr) reverse play ? please touch upon the base distance between the 2 as the play develops. one will be a direct handoff to the wr, the other would be a flip pitch to the wr. Please elaborate/explain.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR ANSWERS WILL GET COACHES ON THE BOARD TO TRY WHAT YOU ANSWERED.

( ABOUT 1.5 BASES LENGTH ) one will be a direct handoff to the wr, the other would be a flip pitch (ONLY 1 PITCH/HANDOFF PER PLAY ) to the wr. Please elaborate/explain.

You can place the base on backward on a WR that is in motion going away from the QB. Point the RB's to go one way while the WR is going the other way, the motion may get the other coach to bite and point his players to get out of position.

Now remember " How smart is the other coach " That is key!!! If he smells what you're doing and has the personal to shut it down then you're done!

You must be deceptive in you're approach and know you're players inside and out.

BUY YOURSELF A PS2 or 3 or XBOX, etc

Every play imaginable can be run IF you practice it. The rules state "one" handoff/pitch so, you can do that a few different ways. Here's one way, minus the motion, of course:
