It's Time to Leave
 

With one game left, the Dallas Cowboys "Redemption Tour" will be coming to a close in the DFW Miniature Football League. After 14 years, I have decided to hang 'em up in the DFW. Upon conclusion of the 14th season and the playoffs, I will be leaving the DFW League.

Curtis Kitchens and I have an agreement in principle to take over the Dallas Cowboys franchise. It is time to move on and do something else with my time and energy.

The DFW Miniature Football League was established in1995 under the Shootout system. It has been a league of great spirit as these coaches play with a lot of passion for the game and a willingness to help less-knowlegeable coaches under the rule system. I have been very blessed and most grateful to have many Road Warriors come to Texas to be a part of the DFW. I want to thank all those who have come to Arlington to witness what we do in the DFW and would ask that people continue to support the DFW League.

But it is time for me to leave. I have enjoyed my time in the DFW and have no regrets.

......I too will be leaving the DFW to join the BAM, CBSMF and my brothers in the LAEFL. The DFW has many good guys in the league and I wish them the best. Reg we are on our way buddy!!!! Got to go home and be apart of something in L.A. that will be special in the next year or so. I can't discuss it now but it has a chance to be big!

Well I three have made EFL committments elsewhere and will be leaving the DFW. I love the DFW but there is nothing left for me to accomplish there. After 5 championship and 2 TX shootouts its time for me to give back to those who have made committments to us. I will also be helping my dear friend John Rowan with lifting the San Antonio League off the ground. I look forward to the BAM and the CBSMF as well as the MFCA Convention in 2009. I'm coming EAST BOYS! I can't wait!

It sounds like the heroes have come to town, established a standard and are riding off into the sun set! What a glorious way for old heroes to move on! I'm sure your talents will be welcome where ever you go. If we could get some of these old relics out of the east, us young grengos could stand a chance :rtfl: We'll see each other again old friend!
