coaches,

What a great heavyweight fight. counter punch after counter punch. congrats to the "stillers" (that's how they pronounce it in the pitt).
T.O. WHO ??????? LARRY WHO GIVES TEAMS "FITZ" IS THE BEST WR. IN FOOTBALL !!!!!!! The man can play. It was a great game to watch.

question, DID THAT ENDING COMPARE WITH THE GIANT ENDING LAST YEAR ?

NEvER THE LESS, 2 great endings in consecutive years !!!!!!!

CONGRAT'S TO THE STEEL CURTAIN

really ????????????????

last play,warner arm going forward,i thought that's an incomplete pass.then you don't review it. on that you might call me a hater but if your reviewing plays after 2 min. and in the superbowl you dont. i got a BIG problem with that. but congrats to omar epps. :rnt; :rnt; :rnt;

Not to sound like I was cheering for pitt it would have been 7 sec left they still wouldn't have got in the endzone and that was a fumble ball was loose before arm went forward ball went forward off his wrist

btower06 02-01-2009 10:43 PM

not really

check out the early one that they called a fumble and overturned it. again maybe they dont get the td,but you got to look at it but you just put the ball down and thats it. at least look at it. :rllngs: :rllngs:

I was rooting for Pittsburg, but you have to review that call. If it was a foward pass, with the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty the Cards would have had the ball on the Steelers 25 yard line or so with about 7 or 8 seconds left. Now that would have been dramatic.

After wathcing the replay, he lost posession of the ball before his hand moved forward. It's the empty hand rule or whatever it's called. In that case it is a fumble.

The difference between that call and the earlier one is that Warner was already moving the ball forward when he lost it...so...incomplete pass.

I feel strongly that if it was reviewed, it would have been a fumble...but they probably should have reviewed it (I am guessing they did but decided quikcly it was a fumble).

All in all, I can't believe the Steelers won. I thought for sure it was over when Larry scored his second TD.

I'm glad for Santonio Holmes. He hit a low point earlier this year but turned things around and really proved how great of a WR he can and will be.

It was exciting...

but way too many penalties for two championship level teams to commit. $cch$

Steelers offense stopped three times inside the 3 yard line???

And what - they combined for less than 100 yards offense in the 3rd quarter?

Then both defenses completely break down in the last four minutes? I suspect if Arizona had been left with more time on the clock the outcome could easily have flipped the other way.

But - that being said - an exciting game.

The right call was made

Unfortunally the right call was made Warner got the ball knock out of his hand though I was rooting for him the Steelers won!! I hated that team is the 70s I guess I am ok with them now!!
