that not so new look

If your like me I try to get my teams to look as good as I can "with vary little success' I'm new to painting. I would like to know what do you do to give your team that weathered look . Sorry I guess I should have put this on the tips page

dry brushing

get some nasty brown/ green colored paint. load the brush and put scrub most of the paint off (pretty much all of it). now apply lightly to the areas that the player would get grass stains. before the paint dries (especially if you applied too much) you can rub off some more paint with a pit of paper towel (this will 'clean' the high areas)

knees...hips...shoulders. are good.

Dont use too much paint! less is more! and don't do every figure with the same stains!

just a suggestion, I am sure others have different techniques
