BEST OL Figs??

Good morning all,

Question:

For max weight 3.5:

What figure from the following list would YOU personally select for best performance from your experience and knowledge for your O-Line and why.

Fab 5 "Blocker"
BB OL
FF linemen

Using the same figs above, what would you suggest on D-Line as well
Any detail level of input is appreciated !!

I like the Fab 5 blocker. I like their low center of gravity and there are very few figures if any that can get a hand on them to push them up high.
Other than that a custom down lineman would be my choice.

For me it's the Haiti Repro figure, on the DL I like buzzballs QB figure.

It all depends on what bases you are using....and what style of offensive line blocking schemes you want to execute.

I would lean towards custom figures combined with bases chosen to execute your OL scheme. If I were going stock, then I prefer those Buzzball linemen.

Here's what I've done for my 96 Packers...

OL
C:67 Tackle
LG & LT: FF Anchor
Another LT: FF hawk customized to shutdown corner; also have BB OL figure
RG: FF Bull
RT: FF Minister

DL
LE: I did 2 Reggie White's: a BB receiver figure and a FF Enforcer (both loop pretty well; the BB figure may be a little faster; the FF figure looks better)
LT:FF Minister
NT/RT: FF Blitzer

I have great success....

.... with the BuzzBall Lt. LockDown that many use as a corner...........I've used that figure in "stock" divisions and also in the Harrisburg BuzzBall League (2008 Champ) where "custom" figures are allowed and it also depends on the base too, ........but they have performed quite well for me.

In 2007, my Cardinals team was ALL Speed Diamond Bases including the "O" and "D" lines and the team lost one regular season game, and one play-off game both to the eventual Champion Paul "Don't call me that name" "Raiderman" Bartels .

Thanks

Thanks guys,

As always, there are many different answers, which is a GOOD thing...I have all three types of linemen painted up so I'll just have to run my practices and see what works for me coupled with playing in the DSEFL college league and take "notes" as I learn.

Just trying to expedite the learning curve a bit...
Ok, 4am and back to my passing drills, get my drift, apparently I have MF OCD:)

Thanks,

Fab 5 Blockers

I know that there has been a lot of talk about witch figures make for the best blockers.

Over time I have tryed many of the figures that have come out, but nothing I have found that can match the collective performance of these figures.

They work well together as a unit just as the actual offensive line would work.

Yeah I know that there are figures that look really good and I have some of them, however they could not match there performance.

There are figures for show and figures for go and the Fab 5 blockers are for go.

I use the Buzzball Lt. Lockdown at OL.. So I like the BB CB figure better at OL and the OL figure better at CB...
