WHAT IS THE TECHNICAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

MIGGLE REGULAR SIZE (CHINA) FIGURES AND HAITI REPRO'S

I put them side by side last night and they look the same to me. Which means, a regular size (china) figures should perform just as well as the haiti's, right ?

WHAT IS THE DIFF ON THESE ????

This sounds like a MIKE PRATT breakdown explanation of both

The reason I prefer painting and playing Haiti Repros to Miggle regular figures is:

* The Haiti Repro plastic takes paint better. Also, the white is crisper, so if a team is a white-jersey team, there's no reason to paint the white. The Miggle figures are a different shade of white that needs to painted over.

* The Haiti figures by the bag, are 95% of the time right in terms of the number of figures, and the proper distribution of figures by pose. Miggle figures come 10 to a bag or 12 to a bag, and on the majority of bags I've seen, at least 1 figure per bag is unusable because it's warped or disfigured, etc.

* Haiti figures always seem to be balanced appropriately, and I can't say the same for Miggle figures.

* Paint tends to run at times on Miggle figures. There are seems and such, especially below the knee, where adding paint causes it to run down the rest of the figure. This can be fixed with filing, but there's no need to file a Haiti figure.

* The pads and such are better articulated on a Haiti figure. There is a more realistic look.

* For the cost point, Haitis are a better value than Miggles, based on the reasons above.

But that's just me. I could be wrong.

If you say something bad about the Chinese made Miggles, nothing happens. If you say something bad about the Haiti repros, a tiny little witch doctor casts a spell on you, and you turn into a Roo Morgan. :nhnh: :nhnh: :nhnh:

Unfortunately, the spell can't be reversed by lavishing praise on them.... :rtfl: :rtfl: :rtfl:

ROO, VERY INTERESTING

ROO,

1) IN YOUR ESTIMATION, ARE THE haiti's the most balanced figures made ?
many champions have won with them and swear by them

2)your right, the white on them is really nice and bright and maybe you dont have to paint that area. It will save coaches time on there projects.

3)will they stand up against bigger figures in the field of play ?

4)where did ther haiti originate ? was that a product of tudor games ?

5) regarding the paint, your right again. The paint just glides on them with ease.

6) has anyone made a custom figure from a standard haiti fig ?

***there must be something to this if coaches who have won mutiple championships endorse them with such admiration.

****im looking into mixing haiti repro's with the new dewayne jennings figures.

***raidermike (MIKE BEAL) DECALS SHOW UP REALLY NICE ON HAITI'' S, not painting the white is very interesting. I just hope that white area does not yellow over time.

THANX FOR YOUR HELP

Dre,

I can only speak to my own experiences. The Steelers team I used to go undefeated and win BMEFA in the first season had many Haiti figures on it, with some Buzzball and a couple Big Man repros. I used Haiti tackles for running backs and many other positions, because there are no figure distortions that will cause the base to underperform (by it leaning one way or another for the figure, thus causing the base to go a direction other than desired).

Bigger figures: It depends on the bigger figure's pose, and the base used. A Big Man tackle is not necessarily better than a Haiti tackle.

I've never seen a Haiti figure turn yellow. I've never seen any figure turn yellow.

My favorite combination is a Haiti tackle figure at RB, WR, etc., running on a gray, white, or black speed Diamond base. You also can get great OLBs out of this combo.

PS: I can't speak to how they would mesh to Jennings figures - I've never seen one, never painted one, and never played with/against one.

haiti repros....

These figures are some of the best balanced ever made and the consistancy in the molding is almost exact. when you buy miggle big men the weight on some change by almost .2 per the same pose...not on the haiti repros.
You can make gr8 customs with them too and they perform very well... the following figs are all made from haiti repros.
