A Tribute to this Forum

Though I have only just moved in to the electric football hobby, I would like to comment on how wonderful the forum that we have here is. At most other websites on the internet, there is constant insulting, fighting, trash-talking, etc. You can hardly give your opinion without being rediculed by others. But in the MFCA Forums, there is nothing but advice and praise going around. I have only seen a few slightly insulting posts during my entire time on this site. If you have a question, it will be answered, no matter how obvious it may seem to some or even if it has been asked before. No one on this site treats beginners like newbies that don't know what they're talking about. It's this type of unity that will keep the Electric Football tradition alive for the new generation, including teens like myself. Thank you everyone for your time and patience, and let's keep this tradition of acceptance going!!!ppls$ thmbsp$:chr: ppls$ thmbsp$ :chr:

Well... there is a story, (no, it's not because I'm a redhead, because I'm not ;) ) but I hardly found it worth telling before. I'll tell it now at your request, though... :rllngs: ;)

When I was in the sixth grade, I had a weird obsession with volcanoes :D . They just seemed really cool to me. I would talk about them all of the time, and I named all of my created teams on video games the Volcano City Fireballs :o :rllngs: . So a few people started calling me a Volcanohead, and though it didn't stick, I decided to use it for my usernames and add a bit of humor/originality/mystery to my name.

So that's the story. Not very interesting, but it's true.

By the way, I didn't even know about this "Volcano Head" dude stealing my name :rnt;   !!! I have it copyrighted and everything :D !!!

HA! There's plenty of ridicule here. We just prefer to do it behind your back via PM's back and forth. :nhnh: And the insults... just tell someone that their team looks like it was painted by Guttmann, well, you can't get much more insulting than that. :D :rtfl: As for trash talking, just ask anyone and they'll tell you that pretty much anything that I say is pure garbage, mtmstnks mtmstnks mtmstnks And the reason that none of us treat beginners like newbies is because none of us are smart enough to know what a newbie is. :dohdh: :dohdh: :dohdh: frstplc thmbsp$

Thank you for the kind words regarding the forum. I can say that the majority of people on the forum are very helpful and willing to help in any way that they can. We have a few knuckleheads    but there are, thank goodness, very few of them. We do our best to ignore them.

Have a good day and thanks again.
