34 years and still counting!

I just wanted to wave my own flag for a moment. On May 20th I completed my 24th season in my solitaire league the CSL (Culp Solitaire League). Superbowl XXIV featured the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars. It was one of the best Superbowl's that I have had. I am still having problems downloading photos on to this forum....however...I have 54 photos posted on the Hoosier Heartland EFL website in the photo album section, along with a complete writeup of the game on in the headline section. The website is www.leaguelineup.com/hhefl

I hope you guys take some time to check out the photos...I had a lot of fun with them... and please sign our guestbook.

Furthermore, it has been a very busy May for me...finishing up the first issue of The Tweak and getting it to print on time...wrapping up my solitaire league 2006 season and many other things. With all that said...I want to take a moment to thank two people...Al Dunham and Lynn Schmidt.

RavenAl, as he is known on this site, worked really hard on this first issue and everyone should send some love his way. I have gotten to know Al over the last couple of months and he is simply a great guy and I consider him a good friend.

As for Lynn, he is completely committed to the MFCA and the work he has put into getting things rolling has been an inspiration to me. Not to mention....I believe in my heart that the MFCA is going to be big...so if you haven't already joined...then please...be a part of miniature football history and join....

Thanks for reading and God Bless!

Cool website

Hi, I checked out your league website. Wow, you completed 24 seasons. I'm still in my first solitaire season that I started 2 years ago. Congrats!!!

p.s. - I couldn't help notice the team endzones for the Giants & Jaguars. How did you create them? What material do you use? I'm asking because I'm looking for alternatives to field covers. Thanks in advance.

Custom/Cheap endzone idea

What I have done is made a "template" using Microsoft Word to fit 620 models and the standard Miggle Superbowl boards. I have made my own logos and can insert NFL Logos, college logos etc. whenever I want onto the endzones. I then print out the endzones using "Sticker Project Paper" made by Avery. It comes in a package of 15 unprinted and removable sticker sheets and can be found at your local Walmart in the office supply isle. The part number is #3383. I use this paper because it is easily removed from the field and can be reused. I can e-mail you the templete if you like, so you can start making your own endzones. It is a quick way to transform your fields and it allows you to customize it however you want.

Hope that helps...

e-mail me if you want the templates.

Endzone Template Information

Hey, anyone wanting the endzone template, if you could e-mail me at mmmculp@comcast.net ,then I could reply to your e-mail and it would be much easier to send the files. I am also working on some instructions to make it a little easier. If I don't get an e-mail from all of you, then I will still try to get it to everybody somehow.

The link below is where I get ALL of my logos...it is an awesome site and they have every logo you could possibly want...every team...it is a great resource.
