Miggle chat site poll

As some of you may know, the Miggle chat site is having member issues with;
Location
Join date
posts
email and PM options, etc.....

Now, American Eagle restored the system incorrectly and they are trying to charge Miggle to fix it. It's not a cheap fix! I've been exchanging some very detailed emails with them, and they are soon to see the bad side of me.

I know a lot of you don't frequent the chat site much anymore, of which I totally understand, and I also stand by the MFCA. So, my question is to you.....

Do I suggest to the Landsmans to fix the issues, or just let them know that the issues are effecting nobody? This is your choice. I'm pretty sure the "Frequent Flyers" at Miggle are here on the MFCA, so I'm inclined to just leave it alone.

Please vote, and leave any response you may have so that I can get back to Mike and Delayne later this week.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience on the Miggle site.

Mike

A penny

saved is a penny earned. I didn't even notice it honestly. Why not another provider?

Gutt leave it alone

Like Kenny said, I didn't even notice it.

What I did notice is that my flashing Avatar of ME was gone!!!!
:fghttt: :fghttt: :fghttt: :fghttt: :fghttt:

It had my world famous model shot in there!!! LOL

But seriously, don't even think of spending the loot.

To Be or Not To Be.....

Mike,
Am I reading this correctly ? Are you saying that the
Miggle site may cease to exist ? That would be a shame
considering they pretty much started this EF website
stuff, but understandable in these lean- financial times.
If it's not cost effective for them anymore then I say
shut it down.A sad day for many, indeed, but all will survive.
OR are you saying they plan on keeping the site running
but it may have problems ? I would think that if they plan
on keeping it going then they would want it to run right,
providing,again,it is cost effective.
Tuff call on their end.I do not envy their situation at all.
Whatever they decide, they need to know that they did
their best and helped turn this hobby around .It was down
and close to out but Mike & DeLayne had a BIG part in
bringing it back.My hats off to them.WE can't expect them
to be the "driving" force behind this hobby forever. They
have done their share and then some. For that WE ALL should
be gratefull.Thank you very much !!!!!
In no way am I deminishing the contributions of others to
this hobby.I will not start naming names .We all know who
they are.Their contributions are not the issue here but
non-the-less appreciated.Thank you too.The issue here
is about what Miggle needs/has to do.Tuff decision for
them.Whatever their choice, they will always have my
respect and admiration.Thanks again,Mike & DeLayne.

No

Save the money. I don't see it as a major issue. However, as a matter of principle, if American Eagle screwed it up, they shouldn't be charging Miggle to fix it.

There's got to be a better alternative, who does the MFCA use?

jeff 02-02-2010 06:48 PM

If it is their actual web-site , then it needs to be fixed. Without it their would be alot of new guys that may never find out about this community . Maybe no more conventions , etc... then the possible end of Miggle . That cannot be allowed to happen.
If it is a chat site like we used to have at the bottom of the page , then I say let it go.

This is only about the Miggle forum. It broke down awhile back and when the host provider put the back up version back in place, certain parts did not work or were missing. This is what Guttmann is asking about. From what I understand it only affected the user profiles and has nothing to do with IF the site is staying up.....I am sure the site is not going anywhere...just needs a bit of repair.

GUTTMANN 02-02-2010 09:13 PM

That is correct Wolf, Thanks.

This question is for the Chat site only, not the entire site. User profile information has been lost and can't be repaired without the host charging Miggle to do it. Yes, I've saved all emails that point the blame on them, but the Miggle site is peanuts to them compared to the NFL chat sites they also host, so they don't care if the chat site stays around at all.

You are voting on the Chat site, not the entire site or store. If you want to change your vote, please let Wolf know. OR, I can start a new pole.

Mike and Delayne would like to know Friday.

Thanks, and sorry for any confusion.
Yes, I like the yellow TTQB's too!
