Staying competitive: How do you maintain that mental edge?

What do you do to stay focused in a game?

Ref

I had this issue when my son was playing , I pulled myself and let someone else ref, he (my son) had a attitude everytime I made a call against him, his words were , you want me to lose so you can remain undefeated, I said no, the call was correct, so I don't ref his games.

The moment you begin to think,"am I losing my focus":rllngs: You lost it!:D

Focus

Don't over think or over analyze, which I have not even come close to accomplishing yet, hence is my nemesis...I need to "Keep It Simply Stupid".

Probably doesn't hurt if you actual sleep the night before, for me, that's rare due to working nights, however, if you do have the opportunity to sleep, get all your prep done earlier and SLEEP on it !!!
