Sculpting

It is a rainy afternoon, and our internet was out for a while, so I did some experimenting.

I have been fighting with the "green stuff" for a couple of years. I have been wanting to do more than just add sleeves or build things up, and I usually get frustrated and quit. But today, I finally just sat there and worked at it. I am pretty happy with the results. I now have a headache from staring at the details, but it was worth it.

Gee, you need to move to Seattle where it rains everyday so that you could keep doing more of this

Wow, amazing!

Thanks for the feedback. If I lived in Seattle I would probably get alot of things done.

I spent the rest of the day pretty much suffering through more sculpts. I had a number of mishaps , but I finally got on a roll, and got a couple more that worked out.

The first one ended up with a huge chin so I thought I would give him a beard. I think it would work well for one of those linemen from a northern team like the Patriots, or maybe Merlin Olson.

The next is a revolution helmet that I sculpted it to fit the Electric Gridiron Revolution masks. They fit it perfectly.

The figure is going to be Emmitt Smith. I had an extra Electric Gridiron lineman, and I have been wanting to find a way to use them for another position. After hacking him to pieces, I was able to turn him into a tucked RB pose. After looking through my cards I saw that it was similar to the way Emmitt ran through the line.

Man, everything looks great!
On the revolution helmet, don't forget the raised "swoop" that starts on the crown of the helmet and continues down into the extended jaw protectors on either side of the helmet. It's subtle, but it helps make the helmet unique.thmbsp$
Fantastic work! I love the bearded face. It would definitely work as a Merlin Olsen.
